We bought one of these units back in early 2007 to augment a SUA750XL for our aggregation machine. This unit has performed wonderfully since then - we lost power for a week and the batteries kept our machines up and running so we could contact our field equipment during the outage. The unit is now attached to a SUA1000XL and still performing wonderfully during extended power outages. I was visiting this page to look into replacement batteries because the time limit is coming near, but was disheartened to see that the replacement batteries cost ~$900 when a new UXBP24 only costs ~$800. Due to these costs then we'll probably recycle the batteries in-house and just get a new unit.
