Rated 5 out of 5 by from Current version unusable The device configuration is limited to what is included in the firmware and set via web interface. As of now (firmware 5.2.4, many of the most simple, required controls have not been added. For example it CAN notify you on motion detected or not, but that's pretty much your only setting. So, if that rule is activated, you will be emailed every few seconds till motion is not detected. The option to send one alert every is planned for a later release. So, our device is sitting there essentially unused, with the hope they add enough features to make it worth owning at some unknown point in the future. Note: I bought this because I had been such a satisfied user of Netbotz in the past. My concern now is with firmware/features. WHEN the firmware re-adds features available via firmware or software for previous Netbotz models, then I would definitely consider revisiting these products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible UI with fewer option. Broke after 2 month The only good thing about this thing is the camera is better than the older models. Aside from that the UI for this camera is terrible. The options to customize the notifications for this device is also very limited. The whole device broke after 2 months. It would no longer boot back up. There is no physical reset button, so the only thing support can do is replace our device. This is a waste of money. Stick with your older netbotz 355 or 455 for as long as you can.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Camera - Tha's it Camera is great but the firmware is unstable. 750 are stable but 755 have been hit or miss. we've ordered 30 and only have 3 working properly. we use DCE to manage all of our UPS, PDU and Netbotz. Camera clips are not being captured by DCE. might be firmware not sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from garbage setup process over priced crap takes forever to boot, setup and properly get into DC Expert compared to the 455 series

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Serious downgrade from previous models Have used Netbotz appliances for 10+years. Stored data on NFS shares (option no longer available), used time between events to limit data storage (feature not available). This product has been stripped down of features as the price tripled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Broken devices passed off as working. My employer purchased 10 NetBotz 755s. Out of the original 10, 8 showed a bug where the devices would reboot randomly. 1 stopped powering up. We worked with support for 6 months troubleshooting our network hardware, trying different firmware versions, and getting 7 RMA units. 2 of the 7 RMA units are working as expected, while 2 fail to power up after less than 2 weeks and 3 are rebooting randomly. This device is inherently flawed with no long term fix based on my and other reviewers experiences.
