Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice and tough I bought this off of a recommendation from someone who used this for their iPad. It has not let us down so far!! We have the 11” and have had trouble finding a rugged cover that would fit! I was excited when this did! The only thing I wish it had was a cover for when you’re not using the keyboard. When you leave the keyboard as the cover it makes it a little heavy. But at least it is protected!

Constantly being handled outdoors and under my arm around the work area. But it’s also extremely presentable to clients and contractors. I am happy with my purchase and already Showed and told many other people to purchase this. Only 2 suggestionS I may make is: WE NEED MORE COLORS! Also the keyboard should not need to charge separately, the power should transfer through the magnetic latch. Com-on ZAGG, get to work!

The only thing is that you have to charge the key board seperlly and they do not provide the charger ??. You have to use the one from your Ipad. The Ipad pro brings a 3 dot funtion in the back for the cover To recognize the cove and key board but Zagg did not take this in consideration. Other than that it is great , if durable looks like it but I have only had it 2 month.

The only thing that keeps it from a 5 star is that the stand in the back isn’t easy to get your finger to pull it down. Also not a fan of the feel of separating the keyboard from the screen. Just a weird way to separate the two. I would consider buying it over the apple keyboard, which I had before.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good heavy protection for the IpadPro M1 device As always, the ZAGG “Rugged Boook” (Go, pro, etc) are excellent in protecting the whole Ipad Case. I particularly appreciate the kick stand that allows any angle from 0 to 180 degrees. The only draw back is the case fits so tightly that the volume controls are difficult to use. Otherwise this is excellent for in-house use but especially for travel use. Keyboard is very good with a ‘soft click’ sound and feeling.

Great protection for my ipad pro, but has a design flaw in the back stand - it breaks from opening and closing. My first was replaced for this issue inside the first year. The keyboard is easy to use and love the back lighting.

A little heavier than others, but the support and use of the keyboard is very easy to use. I like the fit of the pencil on top and because of the magnet of the pencil to the iPad, it is very secure when traveling. I also like that if I do not want to attached the keyboard to the iPad, the bluetooth link still works, however, the keyboard is resting flat on the surface.

The keyboard needed to be charged! I downloaded the instruction manual but have not had the time to explore how to use it efficiently. I’m sure I’ll be satisfied because I can rely on Zagg fir any assistance.

The pencil holder is outstanding and an upgrade from my older version. Overall construction is good, but I liked my previous Zagg case construction for my 9.7 inch iPad a bit better in 2 areas. First, it had more nonstick rubberized surface for the kickstand which stayed put easier. Second, the hinge felt more sturdy. That is why I gave it a 4 and not a 5.

And I have dropped my ipad and keyboard quite a few times because I bought a new couch and the arms are thin, unlike my old couch, and it doesn’t take much to have it drop to the floors. Not once did i worry about cracking the ipad screen or damaging thenZagg keyboard!

The keyboard is very nice and the shortcut keys are fantastic to help access things normally accessed via gestures. Being able to switch the keyboard between my phone and iPad is also very helpful. The backlit keys are great in dark environments. Having the ability to remove the keyboard to use the iPad independently was also a strong selling feature. I highly recommend this case for any iPad Pro users.

Aside from that one major flaw, I love the design. My ipad feels safe and the keyboard is really nice.

It makes my iPad feel like a laptop when I want it to and still maintains all the functionality of an iPad. The case is solid and protects my investment well. The flap on the back allows adjustment for the screen at any angle. It is stiff and sturdy, so it keeps the screen exactly as I want it on may various surfaces. The tray for the ipencil holds it snugly in place and ready to use. The keyboard is laid out well and the backlit keys are a really nice convenience. I highly recommend this keyboard/case combination.

I like the way the keyboard detaches ;the pencil holder is slightly flexible but holds it firmly allowing it to charge securely. Rugged is what it says, and rugged is what you get, so don’t drip that it’s too heavy, start deadlifting. ??

Very versatile and not worried about drops with her carrying it around the house. It does add significant weight to the iPad Pro, but that’s part of what keeps it protected so it’s a worthwhile trade off in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kick stand is a fail for using on the fly I have owned the ZAGG Rugged Book for my last two iPads...roughly 6 years now. Naturally when I purchased the iPad Pro 11” (2020) my first choice for a keyboard/case option was ZAGG. The new Rugged Book Go had the same dependable keyboard and the case offered the sam protection that I came to expect. There is one huge flaw, the kickstand is just wonky. It it not only hard to open, it is noisy on a desk surface. The case not having a hinge that allows for independent screen positioning and to hold the screen in place like the original Rugged Book, it makes it hard to use this keyboard case without a flat surface (ie in your lap, on a small area). I was so disappointed that I had to return this keyboard/case and buy a different brand with the hinge style case that can still be separated from the keyboard. The other thing that was a disappointment but not a deal breaker sans the kickstand is a trackpad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Keyboard I’ve always purchased my keyboards from Zagg because of the durability. My last keyboard was a Rugged for an Air Pad. I liked it very much and will continue to use it. It still functions as if it were purchased yesterday. I like the Rugged Keyboard for my iPad Pro. Unlike the Rugged for my Air pad the keyboard for my Pro can only house the Pro one way. With my Rugged Air pad I was able to turn the iPad around on the keyboard. There’s no way to do that with this keyboard. Also I dropped my Air iPad in its Rugged case and suffered no damage whatsoever to my iPad. I don’t have the confidence the outcome would be the same with this keyboard case. On a positive note, I’m loving the keyboard key design. I like the rounded keys. I hope this keyboard holds up as well as its predecessor. And maybe in the future they may also give us back the ability to turn the iPad around so we’re not forced to use the keyboard if we don’t want to.

Cons- The kickstand is not strong enough to keep the iPad steady when touching the screen. At times the kickstand allows the iPad to move so much that I have to thought the screen two or three times to make the iPad respond. Also the pencil holder covers half the volume button and makes it challenging to operate.

So, I looked at everything again ... I love the ability to separate the keyboard and the feel of the keyboard. Knowing that these had stood the test of time, I waited for the whilst holiday sale and bought this one. I have not been disappointed! I’m very happy with Zagg.

The keyboard attaches magnetically and separates from the iPad pro easily so you can use the Ipad w/o the keyboard like it was meant to be used if desired. With the keyboard it's like a mini laptop. Note that the cover and keyboard are a bit heavy but not a deal breaker. The Ipad cover has a fold out back piece to support the Ipad while in the landscape position. I love this cover/keyboard and would but it again. You will not be disappointed if you purchase the Rugged Book Go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great item! I have a 10 year old son that can draw better than most adults I know, so for his 10th birthday we decided to get him an iPad Pro so that he could draw digitally. I obviously needed a strong case for that iPad. No matter how responsible he promises he’ll be, he is still a 10 year old. We also wanted for him to be able to use the iPad as a computer for when they go back to school online. This case was our best choice. We were not wrong, the case is perfect!!! It provides the perfect support for the iPad. It is lightweight, strong and sturdy but not bulky; it also allows the iPad to be used as a computer, and it even has a slot to put the Apple Pencil. It’s great!

The power button cover refuses to stay “out” and puts constant pressure on power button underneath. I’ve been using ZAGG for 11 years! So heartbreaking that they would put out such a poor product. So only 5 days of use returning! (We’ll see how that goes)

Despite advertising that this case is for 2020 2nd generation Ipad Pro, the exterior buttons are a different configuration a s do not line up with the Ipad's On/Off and Volume buttons. So you cannot turn on the Ipad or adjust its volume at all once it's inside the case. i suspect the case is designed for an earlier Ipad model. I had to return the Rugged Book Go at my expense. Would not trust a Zagg product again.

Tried to find the "right" case and keyboard for my 2021 11" iPad Pro and the Rugged Book Go appeared to be the best option, but was out of stock. I bought another product that worked pretty good, but had a rather industrial metal look to it. Then the Rugged Book Go came back in stock and I chose to go that route. My only disappointment is the location of the top edge of the keyboard in reference to the lower screen. It makes it difficult to swipe up from the bottom of the screen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from they dont last long My replacement lasted a few months was all and they won't replace a replacement no matter if it breaks in 3 months!!! The hinges on the stand need to be made out of a metal not plastic. Great item if they could improved the plastic hinges that break.

When I call my new iPad Pro I decide to purchase this case because it has the features I desire. fortunately the keyboard broke on me on the second day I got it. I couldn’t turn it back on. I couldn’t wake it up Even when it’s plugged in to a cable. In fact I follow the supports instruction and try different cables, the keyboard did not respond. The support was kind enough to send me a replacement set with low cost shipping fee. And now I am on the third day using the second keyboard, and I am going through the same thing as my first keyboard. It’s not responding to my touch. No red light when plugged in. Nothing. once again I have to reach out to the support. Truthfully, I like this design very much but it’s not working out

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Tried another brand and it sure wasn't what this Zagg case is! Good protection, easy to use, good pencil holder. Love how the keyboard holds tight but is easy to disconnect with the magnets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worthwhile Product It is very well made product that fits snugly around the device and not that I would like to test it, but I think it would protect my device if was dropped. Connectivity to the keypad has been flawless and I like the feel of the keypad. I would definitely purchase the product again. The only reason I have not given it 5 stars is because it does not take much to knock the Apple Pencil out of its holder, other than that it is a sound product worthy of consideration.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OK but not great I have been a big Zagg accessory fan for many years now. Mainly their iPad keyboards. While I like the keyboard and its functionality I am not a fan of the new design. I much more prefer the Rugged Book I had for my Air, Air2 and iPad 6th generation. The functionality for using like a laptop was much better for me on the other design. To use this new design on your lap while watching TV or just hanging out is not very conducive. It is hard to flip out the back panel for setting the angle. (you need to use your fingernail) The other Rugged book was great to just throw in my truck and using at a job site, This one seems more fragile as well. Please bring back the Rugged Book book for iPad Pro V2

Keyboard works well and quite functional and secure. Some complain about the rounded keys but they do not bother me. Response and feedback is good and it creates a comfortable typing position. The stand is a little difficult to deploy but very convenient and creates a wide variety of viewing angles. Of course it adds some weight but it is easily removed for tablet only use. Includes a secure integrated holder for the Apple pen. Turns your amazing iPad into a notebook. Only thing missing is the track pad. Priced right. Get one and you will not be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great Fits the 2020 iPad Pro 1TB perfect and it was easy to pair the keyboard to the iPad. This is much better than Apple's newest keyboard which was a mistake for me to purchase although it is nice to be able to charge the iPad through that keyboard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT case buuut... I searched high and low for a case like this one for the newest iPad. Super durable with a fully adjusting screen (Not five fixed spots). It has been great in helping us, mostly my kids, on our 1 million Zooms lately. The only negative reviews were related to the hinges cracking which I assumed was a one-off buuuut I’ve now had this case for under two months and I’ve got cracks on the hinges that are starting to form. Super bummed that it will break sooner than later and I’ll have to replace what was a reasonably expensive case to begin with. This is otherwise a 5-star product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hardy Home for iPad Pro Rugged Book Go is a nice complement to my new iPad Pro 11” (2nd Gen). The keyboard is snappy, pairs easily and stays paired, shortcuts keys are great, and love that I can pair both my Pad and Phone. Haven’t tested the 6 ft drop, but build seems solid and magnet between the case/keyboard is strong, much better than the Slimbook which I had to return (Zagg customer service is top-notch!). Only gripe is the soft plastic used for the pencil/stylus holder, which feels a bit sloppy but does its job. Still a long-time fan of Zagg keyboard cases!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Keyboard I’ve always purchased my keyboards from Zagg because of the durability. My last keyboard was a Rugged for an Air Pad. I liked it very much and will continue to use it. It still functions as if it were purchased yesterday. I like the Rugged Keyboard for my iPad Pro. Unlike the Rugged for my Air pad the keyboard for my Pro can only house the Pro one way. With my Rugged Air pad I was able to turn the iPad around on the keyboard. There’s no way to do that with this keyboard. Also I dropped my Air iPad in its Rugged case and suffered no damage whatsoever to my iPad. I don’t have the confidence the outcome would be the same with this keyboard case. On a positive note, I’m loving the keyboard key design. I like the rounded keys. I hope this keyboard holds up as well as its predecessor. And maybe in the future they may also give us back the ability to turn the iPad around so we’re not forced to use the keyboard if we don’t want to.

However, I'm sadly disappointed since the hinges on the case broke after less than 3 months! Now the entire case is useless. For the amount of money I paid for this case, this is really a let down.

The keyboard had pairing problems that never got resolved, hoping an iOS update would fix it. I made a warranty replacement order and received my current unit. This keyboard has pairing problems and key problems; without pressing a key, it would type repeating hyphens or letters. I’ve had 3 warranty replacement orders ship out via FedEx since January 2021, and 3 weeks later, get sent back to Zagg in MI. The attached screenshot shows my order stuck in Bloomington CA for the past 10 days. It will soon make its way back to Zagg. They say that they cannot ship via USPS, only FedEx. I get my amazon orders via USPS all the time with very few problems. They refused to refund my purchase price because i purchased it from Best Buy. I have to do all of my typing - more like try-ping - on the virtual keyboard on my iPad screen. I really really “love” Zagg! They put new meaning into the term HARD-ware, and they have customer service policies that “REALLY HELP” their customers. Peace

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unfortunate purchase Normally ZAGG is my GoTo for products, unfortunately this time their product fell short. My iPad Pro 2021 case was great, untill after a few days in which the down arrow would start working on its own. I attempted to re-pair the device but still this occurred. Now I have to wait an unknown timeframe for them to finally be back in stock to get a warranty replacement. Maybe next time Logitech or apple will get a better consideration. Hopefully I can get this resolved shortly.
