Rated 5 out of 5 byDBrand from Great DesignHave only used this desk for a short time, but did try the VariDesk Pro Plus 36 before. This electric desk is definitely worth the extra few $, plus the design is more functional in my opinion. They all take a good amount of desktop space, however, at least this design provides better overall desktop functionality.

Sometimes my fiancee shares my desk, so she knows her exact optimal height is 26 where mine is 78. So when I lower it to sit, I bring it to 00, but if I need to raise it again, I know to raise it to EXACTLY 78. Very convenient.It's also not that heavy so a single person can carry it, and it's not a concern to put on any desk.I also love that it came with a power strip that anchors solidly to my desk, and it allows 2 USB ports. Additionally, I love that it came with a rubber coaster with a groove in the middle to contain cup moisture or liquid that drops off the side of my cups.I only wish the keyboard area didn't have the two grooves that stick out on each side because that doesn't give much flexibility on moving the keyboard and mouse around as much, and my small mousepad hangs off the right side because the groove is in the way. But this is a small issue compared to how cool the entire thing is.
