Practical design!
I really like this convertible backpack- it looks stylish and is extremely versatile in functionality. It fits my laptop, notebooks, chargers and a lot of other smaller items. I love that I can carry it as a sling bag or a shoulder bag using the detachable shoulder strap.

Great laptop backpack for XPS17
I have been looking for a new laptop back since I got the new Dell XPS17 which is a little bit larger than my old MacBook Pro and as such did not fit in my old bag. This new bag easily fits the larger XPS17 and has plenty of padding for me to feel that it is going to be safe on trips. While there are a lot of carrying options I have just been using it as a traditional backpack for now. The only thing I wish the backpack had was a velcro strap to secure the laptop into the padded sleeve. When in backpack mode there is not a problem but if you are using the shoulder strap it might move around a little bit more. Build quality it great and it is also nice and lightweight which is key when carrying around an already heavy laptop.

Everyone should own one!
This has been a huge help for me in more ways than one, and the quality is amazing! One less thing to juggle trying to get through an airport, & hotel when trying to get everything into my room in one trip!
Also just walking into work everyday with a computer, purse, lunch bag, etc!

Really nice laptop backpack or over the shoulder b
I love this bag. It is black is awesome for work. The holes my laptop wonderfully, I can carry it as a backpack when I need my hands-free or I can carry it as a shoulder bag and keep other things in a bag with my laptop. It’s roomy and it’s padded to protect my laptop I would highly recommend this bag to anyone

Plenty of room.
I really like the versatility in the bag. Many different ways to carry your laptop. I personally prefer the backpack method. It is a little bulky as a backpack but nothing uncomfortable. Switching to different carrying styles is pretty simple too. Plenty of pockets to store things. Material also feels sturdy. I used this for a 16 inch macbook pro and it fits nicely.

Awesome dual bag
This urban convertible backpack works perfectly for my laptop and tablet. It has one compartments to hold writing utensils. It has 6 compartments for storage. You can wear it many different ways. It’s very lightweight and comfortable to wear.

balancing size with style
I've been looking for months for the right backpack to carry around my laptop and other work essentials. I usually found that the better the size and fit, usually the worse the look and style. This backpack accomplishes both.

Perfect for my commute
I spend quite a bit of time travelling for work. This bag is great for everyday travel. There is enough room for work documents, devices and even snacks. My favorite feature is the convertible straps. I use the messenger bag version often for my everyday commute. I definitely recommend for any professional.

Works wonderfully
The backpack is comfortable, lightweight, and easy to carry. The zippered pouch on the back on the front is convenient, and glides easily. The leather detailing on the top is one of my favorite. It gives the backpack a more regal look. The inside secures my devices well. I am very satisfied with this backpack and its quality.

Perfect for busy go-ers
This backpack is a must have if you're a busy person! I love how versatile this backpack is. I can wear it like a backpack for my more causal days and for my "office" look I can carry it like a briefcase. The sleek design actually adds to my formal outfits! I use a 13" macbook pro and theres more than enough room in the backpack for more things. It doesn't get too bulky and keeps its shape.

Super comfy and versatile
The best thing about this product is there are FOUR different ways to carry it, which makes it the perfect travel bag for your laptop! Its also made with high quality material and seems very durable. Lastly, my husband says its very comfortable to wear. He loves it.

Slim but fits everything!!
I LOVE this bag. My dad picked it out, and I'm not usually a fan of techy looking things like this, but I do love this bag. It's slim and looks chic on me (I'm a petite woman. My laptop is completely protected, but the padding takes up less room than in most laptop bags. The front compartment is large enough to fit m laptop charger and has nice pockets for organization inside. So far I've been using it as a backpack but I think it would be just as great the other way.

Great looking backpack
This is an awesome looking backpack that has enough room to stash all your belongings. It has a laptop sleeve, which is also big enough to hold my ipad, mouse, and laptop charger. The asthetic is discreet. very functional and it is also nice when you can use it as briefcase and backpack/ the only flaw is that the material scratches easy

I bought this for a one short business trip , this bag fits in my 13” laptop, all the laptop accessories. Phone and tablet accessories with tablet, clothes for 3 days and 2 nights and water bottle and a snack box. Light weight and easy to carry

Targus urban convertible.
Not really reliable at all. Please do urself a favour and try before you buy. I bought it on line and there was no way for me to return but to drive to a Targus and do the return. Now, I’m so disappointed and will never recommend buying anything from their online website. What a waste.

Good size, so-so on the padding
The bag is simple and professional looking. Perfect for using at the airport or when traveling and for using it daily to the office. I like tbe convertible nature of it. So I can wear it as a sling, backpack or briefcase. I do wish tbe padding were more substantial and that the front flap opened slightly more. But there is plenty of space to carry a 15” laptop, charger, mouse, as well as a small stack of documents. I ended up added a foam insert from an old dell laptop bag that fit in there perfectly. So now I have the padding I prefer.

Useful with limits
I've been waiting for this kind of product for quite some time. I enjoy that there are four ways for a user to wear or carry it the bag . The back straps seems dirty. The outer design is generally appealing with good material for construction. The big problem is that it's a horrible briefcase, yes it works fine as a shoulder bag or a backpack. But the handles for the briefcase are too small, there's not enough room for an adult hand to go in, and the material of the bag rubs against a person's knuckles where it's slightly hurts to carry. That should probably be a second material on top of the handles. It seems whoever designed the briefcase, either had really small hands or never carried a briefcase before. Why did they keep out on the briefcase part and diminish a very promising product? I do not recommend this as a briefcase. I do suggest it as a backpack or a messenger bag.

Great For On The Go
The Targus 15.6” Urban Convertible Backpack is the backpack I never knew I needed in my life. The handles on the top and side make it super easy to grab this backpack and go. There is a zippered pocket on the front that is good for storing papers or other small objects. The bigger zippered part opens on two sides and inside there is a divider and a small, zippered pocket. This bag is perfect for me when I need to take my laptop on the go. There are so many ways to carry the bag with the convertible straps. I do wish there were some more padding, but I am so careful with my belongings that it does not matter too much for me. Overall, this a great bag that fits all of my needs.
