4K60 Picture and Full Audio Support
The DisplayPort KVM switch supports resolutions up to 4K at 60Hz and can drive one large DP display with ease for maximum viewing space while ensuring full audio compatibility with support for 7.1 HD digital audio (with supporting displays and sources) and separate 3.5 mm stereo audio.

Integrated USB Hub
The integrated USB 2.0 hub shares two additional peripherals (in addition to keyboard and mouse) among attached computers as if they were directly connected, which eliminates the cost of duplicate devices such as printers and scanners.

PC and MAC Compatible
While supporting PC computers, this DP KVM switch is also compatible with MAC computers using a Mini-DisplayPort adapter, including laptops, convertible notebooks, and tablets.

Simple to Operate
The front-panel pushbuttons make it easy to switch between systems and activate the auto scan. The hotkey functionality makes accessing each system quick while a buzzer sound confirms the switch.

StarTech.com offer a wide selection of high-quality KVM Switches and KVM-related products to help you access your systems more efficiently without the expense and clutter of extra keyboards, mice and monitors. This USB KVM switch is backed by a 3-year warranty and free lifetime technical support.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice product but challenging implementation This product seems like an ideal solution, but getting true 4k 60 Hz is problematic. Even using DP1.2 cables from Startech has failed to give 60 Hz. The only way I was able to get 60 Hz was to bypass the KVM switch (all cables work with a direct connection to my monitor), which seems to indicate that the KVM does something with the video signal that I have never been able to resolve. This may not be a problem with your particular monitor, but it is far from a universal device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as described I am using this to switch 1 PC and 3 laptops onto a DP 4K display. I was having problems with a graphics card on the PC at 60Hz and now it works perfectly with the switch in-between - this switch FIXED the problem. Only complaint I have us that the mouse is sometimes "lost" when I switch but this may be a sw/problem in Windows 10. This device is a bit pricey.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, when it works. Problematic when it doesn't. I've been using this KVM switch for 2-1/2 years now. My main monitor is a Dell S3422DWG which has a native resolution of 3440x1440. I normally try to run at a refresh rate of 60Hz, but this will sometimes cause the display to show flickering pixels come in and out (looks like digital snow). This happens intermittently, with a variety of different DisplayPort 1.2 cables. It most often happens when switching between different inputs. The higher the refresh rate, the more pixel snow I see. However, 3440x1440 @ 60Hz is well within the bandwidth of this KVM, so it's unfortunate that I see this problem. Sometimes the problem gets so bad that the monitor appears to reset itself, or try connecting again, and the image gets cleaerer. Perhaps this works better for 4K monitors, but be aware of this potential issue if using a 21:9 monitor such as mine. I've tried many cheaper KVMs to push the same resolution and this one was definitely the best of the bunch.
