The Temperature Sensor Display helps meet compliance when monitoring vaccines for the CDC's Vaccines For Children (VFC) program. From the factory, the display comes with a NIST certified temperature probe in a glass bead buffered bottle for installation inside of the refrigerator. The display is mounted to the outside of the refrigerator and then connected to a Sensaphone system that is capable of data logging.

Users can read the refrigerator's temperature on a 2" LCD display while the device passes the data along to the Sensaphone. Data can be viewed remotely, data logged, and monitored for high and low-temperature alarms.

The Local Temperature Display also: Displays the highest and lowest temperatures; Provides an audible alarm for out-of-range temperatures; Can turn on a light or siren for additional onsite alarm notifications.

When the temperature falls out of the programmed high and low limits, the display triggers an audible alarm, immediately alerting onsite staff of a potential problem. This alarm is in addition to the alerts that the Sensaphone monitoring system sends to designated personnel when temperatures fall out of range.

The display comes with a plug-in power supply and a battery that powers the device in the event of a power failure.

Item includes: Temperature display; Temperature probe with 12' of wire; Buffering bottle filled with glycol; NIST calibration certificate; Power supply; Coin cell batteries; Installation instructions.
