Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality i got this tv after my lg went out. the picture is extremely clear great color i love how simple the remote is. i would highly recommend getting this tv it’s a great value for what you get in return. and as a bonus there were a bunch of extra channels that i never got before with this being a smart tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV, but a few minor details... we really enjoy this television, but a few notes. not enough inputs or outputs for my equipment. i new this going in by the info on the website, but it's still annoying the manufacturers are doing away with them. had to buy an hdmi switch. also, just be aware that on this big of a tv, some broadcasts that are a bit "jumpy", like some lifetime or hallmark movies, are really noticeable and somewhat unwatchable. but that's not the tv's fault, just an awareness item. sounds not great, but most people use a sound bar or stereo at this point. overall, i would recommend this tv! great for sports and action movies!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had high hopes bought the 75” for my new home entertainment center. ive had issues with the audio and video not syncing correctly. after three times of using the tv, i turned it on to find the picture was just blinding flashing. i disconnected all devices and problem still persisted. i finally unplugged it and left it sit for quite awhile. it remedied itself for the time being but having a $1200 brand new tv i’d expect zero problems. everything i have connected to it is also samsung. a samsung blu ray player as well as the new q950a sound bar and still seems to be connectivity issues? all are connected with high end earc hdmi cables. samsung asked to fix this before my review? how? send a tech to my house so i have to miss work to have it looked at? send the tv in for repair?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture, imperfect UX. i'd love to give it 5 stars...and despite excellent visual performance the ux prevents top marks. the mini-blutooth remote that comes with the unit is terrible. if you have a dense wifi/blutooth environment (like every living room now) it will struggle to pair, frequently disconnect and be generally abusive to the overall experience. we tried the easy setup via mobile app...but as soon as the tv came live it invasively tried to push the client onto all our phones. there is a fine line between automated/helpful and creepy/invasive...and it was crossed. contrasting our hisense roku-tv is night/day. setup was quick and easy. disappointing that a market leader like samsung can't do better than this. picture and visuals: 5/5 initial ux and setup: 1/5 general ux: 3/5

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING Quality & Ease of Use i've followed, adored and purchased samsung products now for 10+ years. i have recently relocated and part of the cost savings was to sell my two samsung tv's and soundbar systems. i did and with costs being a big consideration, i wanted a qled and 85" tv with 7.1 sound. but, i purchased this instead and .... i'm here to say elated at the choice. i stream from sd to uhd from the internet and a local resource inside. wow!!! picture quality during streaming is as fluid and consistent as watching a 32gb bluray file off my storage unit. the most difficult part of owning this tv - finding a perfect media / entertainment center that would complement it's length. samsung will be my go to for televisions and sound systems. they aren't unmatched, but they are definitely worth the investment!

Stop working after 20 days. i love it, honestly, but after 20 days, the tv started to turn on and off repeatedly with no picture and sound for a sec in the background. i have followed all the steps to reset it but no luck. so, i decided to chat with samsung for service. i chated with them friday, and they said that somebody is going to come next thursday, but today tuesday (jan 14), i got another email from the service guys that said they might be available after january 22nd. so, here we go. i bought something brand new, the product was defective, and i cannot enjoy it. simple as it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not the samsung I know i know i am not the only one with this issue i read a bunch of threads about this and samsung doesn't do anything to fix this problem: when you first setup the tv everything is nice and smooth until the next day . if you try to install an app you either have to unplug the tv and then plug it back in or press the power button until the tv turns off then on . it is not the internet connection as you can stream and watch your already installed apps. voice control is also affected by this problem. i bought the 75 inch and made the mistake of disposing the box .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very average i have had this tv for 2 weeks now. i know this is a budget tv, but i still expected more. the picture is not that great. i find the colors lacking. especially the brightness of the colors. they are too dark. i have a 4k bluray player, and have watched several 4k movies, and i am not impressed. also the viewing angle is pretty bad. look at the tv from the side and it looks horrible. i also am not a fan of the remote. i bought this to replace a 2 year old 70 inch vizio that was also somewhat of a budget model. the picture on the vizio is much better. i am not sure if i am going to keep or return this tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture for the price i really enjoy this tv. the screen is huge and and the picture quality is great for the price. i wouldve given it 5 stars, however, the setup is very annoying. it took me 2 hours to get through all of it. there were issues with the samsung server so apps wouldn’t download, including the terms and conditions page. i had to research online. it was a common problem and the only remedy was to unplug and power back on. seems like a common problem such as this needs to be fixed on samsung’s end. also, i had to delete samsung tv plus because vevo would come on blasting every time the tv is powered on. those channels, which are mostly garbage, should be an optional download. the sponsored icon in the menu needs to disappear. everyone agrees. listen to your customers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall dissappointing i purchased this samsung tv along with a samsung sound bar. for the most part, the tv is fine, but it randomly disconnects from connections. periodically it no longer transmits to the sound bar and will not reconnect to it. the only solution is to forget the device, unplug the soundbar and resync to it. additionally, the tv will periodically "forget" how to connect to the internet. it connected to my home wifi for a while and then... stopped. the only solution was to restore wifi factory settings and reconnect to the internet. samsung customer service was completely unhelpful and i had to figure all this out on my own. the tv is fine, but the added steps to use the sound bar and connect to the internet make the overall experience less than satisfactory.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SAMSUNG lacks the last step. bought this tv wanting to get a better picture than an older lg model that i have but didn’t turn out that way. i was upset after i hung it up and turned it on. it bleeds through the bottom and thats all i can see. it was a really sad feeling. i have washer, dryer, fridge, dish washer samsung but i feel that this was a sad purchase for me. i just feel that samsung is almost there in perfection but just gives up on the last step. maybe its just me complaining but i can name multiple things wrong with the products that i have. don’t get me wrong i love samsung thats why it’s all in my house but i feel rhat it lacks some minor details and just gives up on perfection. almost forgot it doesn’t want to play some of the apps coming wright out of the box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV But Needs A Warning Label tv is great but needs a warning label to explain the screen is not protected by a plastic film just the surrounding frame. many customers have attempted to try to remove the polarized film the tv actually projects on. upon damaging the screen in the upper left hand corner, customers have had similar experiences. samsung is addressing this matter and has stated this violates the warranty due to physical damage. a technician has come out and taken pictures and we are waiting for follow up.

Must turn OFF the instant on feature! overall, this is a great value tv. there are definitely some better tvs, but you would need to pay significantly more. this one has really great picture quality, although not the best blacks in a dark scene like an oled, and the picture washes out some when viewing from a sharp angle. i’ve seen complaints about light bleed, but i haven’t noticed that issue yet. i did, however, constantly lose internet connection... turns out, this is due to the “instant on” feature. once we turned it off, it has been working fine. the instant on feature only makes a small improvement to boot time anyway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ultimate Value i was debating this one vs the q 70-q90 series and when i was in best buy they had them all on display. the one i thought looked the best was what i thought was the q90, but once i looked at the signs again i realized it was this one (8 series). i looked over them all again and realized i am not expert enough to tell the difference visually. so, i saved about $1k and just got this one. it has the 120 refresh and 4k. outside of that, i am just too ignorant to need anything better. the new remotes without numbers are great too. very easy to maneuver with one hand without looking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No HDR i believe samsung has a flaw when it comes to hdr formatted content. an online search shows others with similar issues. if watching a show that is in hdr you get a black picture. using an external source for streaming (like roku) may fix this but i haven’t tried yet. tried scheduling a tech visit (which is great to have that support) but i would have to dismount my 75” from the wall before the visit. found that to be a ridiculous request so cancelled. its frustrating to have this issue but hopefully buying a new external streaming source works.
