Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just soso the tv is light for its size which iis nice. good picture quality also. disppointing is the volume on the tv is poor quality. the remote is also very basic for a smart tv with very few functions examples no voice control, forward, rewind. when you spend what you do on these tvs you expect sll or at least most of the bells and whistles.

The remote has about a thousand buttons too many and it’s not glow in the dark so I have to shine my phone to figure out what to do. And the buttons don’t work the same way as Fire TV (like the back button doesn’t make the tv go back a step). I hate this TV so much and now I’m stuck with it because it’s too much trouble to return. I’ll never buy another Samsung TV again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture quality besides thw picture quality theres not much i love about the 70’ tv i just bought. the remote is huge and has an outrageous amount of buttons that you will never use on a smart tv. very easy to click a different button and be booted off the page youd like to be on. and the tv lags heavily. if i click anything there is atleast a 10 second delay before it actually clicks. not my favorite. great picture qualify though.

Needs upgrades. menu navigation is too flimsy. too rapid. must include a wall mount. 70" is too large for a regular cabinet. walmart one is not a smart choice. expensive to order online. control needs backlight and manual buttons need to be added to t.v. in case controller is m.i.a. or broken.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED first samsung tv was great! so i was excited and had high expectations when i purchased this tv. i didnt get an extended warranty.16 months after purchase imagine my surprise when the tv begins cycling on and off repeatedly. i tried all of the troubleshooting tips, called customer support and was told it would cost a couple hundred for a technician to come out and that was just the diagnostic price. i took the tv took a hughly rated local tv repair shop. i was told the tv had a screen failure that has unfortunately been something they have commonly seen. it would cost $1100 to repair. i was also told the suggestion to send a technician out was just another way of draining the customer of money. ridiculous and disheartening.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tremendous picture. this tv has an amazing picture - also pretty good sound. no need for a sound bar. only concern, the setup process is lengthy and confusing. following the on-screen instructions gets a consumer into all kinds of extra issues that are unnecessary. i'd have a streamlined process, and one that is more comprenhensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Frames picture great visual design for literary frames tv. picture quality is more than adequate i see no need for better picture quality. i am however discussed with the "required setup" registration. love tzigen linux engine. tv needs a faster processor, as processor is "thinking slowly". totally useless are google and alexa engines. the weakest lingbis sound on this tv. this is my second set, first likely the speakers cones failed, than video. tv speakers can not handle sound power, needs external speakers. if i could, i would return this tv to samsung. screen wise i would recommend 85 inches. you can watch soccer, hockey, sailing, fishing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad software, slow processing... i've had the tv for less than a year, the tv has become very slow in responding to commands from the remote. i've cleared the memory, cache, etc. i had a samsung tech come out and his response was that this tv is not very good, samsung built a mediocre tv to give best buy a product they could put on sale. lesson learned i guess. i have another samsung 65' tv that is 2 years older and 100x better user experience. the software lag is embarrassing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great size, clarity, t v sound so far so good! this tv was very easy to set up/program, we haven't mounted to the wall yet, its on a sturdy long table. sound quality, picture are great. we added a bluetooth speaker but once mounted we will add our soundboard. colors are vivid, great clarity. movie quality tv! highly recommended if you're looking for binge-watching theater quality tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great colors rast to set up and use. this tv has a bright brilliant picture it refreshes fast enough for me i’m not a gamer. the samsung channels are very enjoyable they offer variety i find it a great asset. the only knock i have on this tv is that near the bottom of the picture is a dark shadow hoping that will clear up eventually we will see.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Buy. replaced an old samsung 65’ tv we had for 7 years. replacement was because our old samsung started to have issues opening apps and it didnt support a lot of the new apps for example disney+ and other now popular web streaming apps. we are very satisfied with this tv. easy to set up and easy to use at the touch of a button. very intuitive controls. video clarity from different angles in the room is not an issue, tv sound is clear and has good depth for the family. remote can learn a varity of functions. power cord allows you to mount the tv as close to wall as possible. only deduction is the tv has 2 hdmi input ports. none the less, great buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautifully done we had a lg before this one and no comparison at all. we got new fiber optics wifi and the picture color is so unreal. you can see every detail i love it!! my husband got the surround sound for the tv it’s bad !! you can even hear the foot steps behind when someone is creeping up!! love love love !! would love a bigger one in the furture!! tv is super fast too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stopped working after 4 days bought it brand new on christmas eve. got ot home and set everything up. great picture, easy set up, decent sound. 4 days later there was no picture, only sound. i had to box it back up (fortunately we still had the box) and return it to the store.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buffering i have had a lot of trouble with buffering issues. ive hardwired the ethernet and that didnt seem to help. with fiber optic internet, at the highest availability of speed this shouldnt be an issue! it must be the operating system because, i use a chromecast dongle and all my buffering issues are fixed! troubleshooting all the issues, including a cold reset/updating apps/refreshing apps/removing and installing apps/etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely the only brand I will buy from now on. i've used vizio tvs, roku, phillips and lg. this samsung is very responsive, comes with a plethora of apps for streaming services (some free without a paid streaming subscription!) & samsung tv, which is almost as good as cable. connects to your phone to control as a remote. i love how it's almost frameless. i don't really have any complaints about this tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Such an amazing TV this is such an amazing tv, i feel like i am actually in it literally. the colors are amazing and my xbox and ps4 gaming has been taken to a new level with it. i am actually ranking higher in multi-player games. i even use it with my laptop via hdmi. i do wish there were more hdmi ports and rgb/aux. haven't had any issues as of yet which is always a concern of mine. i've always been samsung loyal, plus i do my research before any electronics purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great until you need a remote The tv itself never connected to wifi properly, but we just use a Firestick so we didn't think it was an issue. Then the tv stopped responding to the remote, so we just used the manual power button on the tv. Now the manual power button doesn't do anything. I'm able to turn the tv on from my firestick, but my screen is dark and I can't go to settings to change it. For a tv less than 2 years old, it's beyond disappointing.

I tries via Wi-Fi and USB but it doesn't work. -- Called Samsung support for both of these issue, spent about 4 hours and nothing helped. Finally they sent a tech to my home and he had absolutely no clue about Universal remote feature. Regarding firmware update issue, he was very honest and said..."I don't know. Call Samsung Tech"

I don’t like that there’s not much of a Home Screen it’s at the bottom in a row. I wish it was the whole screen. And no screen saver. It’s hard to search for things too. So much stuff pops up and it’s difficult to find what I’m looking for. The price was nice.

Have someone coming to look at it next week. The control lags and you end up on screens you don’t want to. Worst purchase ever. I thought Samsung was top of the line but honestly this model is the worst!!! I had Toshiba and tlc that are worth more than this thing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent the picture is amazing, the sound decent. there are a couple problems with the tv having issues connecting to the internet. i have to forget the network and sign back in for it to work. the remote response is lacking with about a 3-5 second lag between button press. it is very fragile. small bump and the screen is destroyed. i bought the 70" a year ago and in the process of moving it in a minivan by itself and then moving it into my theater the screen broke. i did buy another, but only because i found it at a killer deal that i couldn't pass up. 2 different purchases of a 70" both have the same issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing picture & sound quality great tv! the initial setup is super simple and quick. i was able to optimize the settings to my personal preferences with ease. the app store is plentiful and has more apps available than my other smart tv. i have a roommate so being able to have multiple profiles is another feature i didn't know i needed. connecting to the smart things app was also easy and has come in handy on several occasions. i don't think anyone could go wrong with this tv. the picture and sound quality are top notch, the multitude of apps and settings, and the simplicity of the initial set up will leave you enjoying whatever media your heart desires without the regret of buyer's remorse. highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from solid and affordable with some compromises if you require several input hdmi's you will be out of luck as it only has 2, additionally other inputs are very limited. i tried using my samsung soundbar over optical but it was unresponsive so i had to wire it through hdmi/arc . if you require more than one device i'd recommend an hdmi splitter. if i were to reengineer this tv i would add additional ports closer to the side of the tv to make it easier to access them. overall decent quality between the picture quality and automatic low latency gaming mode, but the lack of ports might be a deal-breaker for some.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Embarrassingly bad user interface coming from roku tvs, this piece of kit is stunningly unweildy. not user-friendly in the slightest. input lag from the remote is super frustrating. menus are difficult to navigate. the remote app doesn’t seem to be designed for human use. a little hard to get it to play nice with sonos home theater so that music/sfx isnt blow-your-eardrums-out loud but voices are quiet enough to avoid detection from the quiet place monsters. two stars instead of one because a) supports spectrum app, where roku does not and b) picture quality is pretty good for the price. overall, expected more from one of the top-tier brands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crisp viduals, not enough input love the size and super happy with the quality of the picture. my only disappointment is the lack of hdmi input. with the amount of devices available today, i would think that tv’s of thise suze, for an entertainment center, would have plenty of input for all your consoles, sound sustems, etc , but alas, there is only 2 hdmi input. so i’m having to use a separate hdmi input. i would gladly trade “smart” features for more input.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Price…that is all! received this tv as a gift to replace my faithful 12 year old samsung and was truly dissapointed. can not believe that they make tv’s now with only 2 hdmi inputs and neither one a 2.1. also it blows my mind that in this day and age we can actually purchase a tv that has a 60hz refresh rate. i am truly sorry that i threw out this box. now i have to try and sell this to someone and purchase a better tv. as with everything else we are making cheaper and cheaper products. i most definitley wont reccomend this tv or brand to anyone i know.

The second one I went through the trouble of switching does too just less noticeable. It has a great feature for free tv, including music channels and the native apps work great. I was only disappointed with the dead pixels and that’s it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Save Your Box!! purchased and just yesterday received the new tv. #2 hdmi port does not work. called service and after they remotely checked this out, an on-site tech option was offered. as we just got the tv a day ago, i contacted sales. i was told to put it back in the box and fedex would pick it up and my money would be refunded. we already disposed of the box. we like the tv and asked them to send me a replacement and i would use that box to send it back. no way and was told to try buying a box to put the tv in to send back. i somehow got disconnected from the sales person. we are trying the on-site tech option. this is insane and am worried what is the next issue!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loses network connection ALL THE TIME had some real headaches with this tv. seems like a known issue. firmware didn’t fix it. new eero wifi system didn’t fix it. no other wireless device in my home has the issue. deleting the ssid and readding doesnt fix it. only thing that fixes it is physically unplugging it and plugging back in. that tells me it is a software issue. got tired of waiting for samsung to fix it, made a wired connection for tv. that was super frustrating, but with a physical wired connection, been working fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth It!! this tv is the best investment in entertainment i’ve made. i was skeptical to purchase because i’ve heard the whole “all tvs are basically the same” but let me tell you—not true. the sound, color, high tech of this tv was nothing short of amazing the moment i turned it on. the set up was very easy and the fact that i can sync my phone and tv is a bonus. i added led lights to the tv and i now have a full cinematic experience for myself and guests. honestly, i dont normally write reviews but this was worth every dollar. i’ve had zero issues thus far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unable to stream Netflix on the big screen spent 2 hours trying various routes to get netflix to stream, then spent 2 hours with customer support on phone trying several options— still no go. the unit has not updated to version 2201, even though it is set for auto updates. when trying to force update or download it to my laptop, it timed out because it is about 4.5 gb. factory reset twice, still not able to stream netflix. even if able to install update, itdoesn’t mean that i’d ba able to stream netflix. the tv does stream samsung plus, hulu, pandora, amazon prime.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING TV AND AMAZING PRICE switching from the tcl 65" to this 70" samsung tv was the best decision i've made. tcl tv went out and it was going to cost more to repair the tv than what i paid for the tv on black friday 2018. took care of it and turned on any and all safety features to extend the life of the tv.... it didn't work! tip for anyone wanting a tv, don't go out buying cheap tv's... spend the money for something and know it'll last longer. this samsung 70' tv was very easy to set up. love the crystal clear uhd viewing. it's beautiful. didn't even look at the instruction guide. had the tv up running in 5 minutes. will be more samsung tv's down the road.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Caution bought this tv on a saturday and on the following thursday i noticed the screen was separating from the frame. called samsung they said they would create a work order and send a tech out. the next day the tv turned into a bluetooth speaker, the screen went completely black. i would have given it one stat but the customer service was phenomenal

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wouldn't buy another Samsung; Flies behind screen our 70" tu7000 was approximately 3 months old when we started noticing that flies/bugs were able to get behind the screen somehow. they now have died in there and caused several unsightly specks. tv was purchased from best buy in june 2021. the warranty process was frustrating from scheduling all the way through to the appointment. among other things "technician" accused us of having an infestation saying he'd never seen the problem; said we probably got bugs from going to garage sales (haven't been to one in years) and then that it was roaches. (clearly not roaches) said he couldn't do anything as it would be dangerous for him to open up tv and risk getting "infected" or bit. we're clean people, the tv clearly has an issue. will never buy another samsung product again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not so SmartTV unpacked my new samsung tu7000 65", plugged it in, and immediately there is problems. the screen tells me to "download and install the latest smartthings app on your mobile. then, start 'samsung tv 1364' setup via add device. however, there is no tv 1364 (nor tu7000) to be found among the devices listed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible — Buyer Beware this is probably one of the worst televisions i’ve ever owned. there is a huge lag for start up—you basically have to power it on and wait a few minutes before youre able to select an app (netflix, hulu, disney+, etc.) to launch. this is the start of it. since purchasing it, i have had to reset the factory settings three times, it will drop the wifi connection and won’t reconnect without a factory reset, and the picture quality just isn’t there. i know it is just this tv, because a different brand that i own meber does this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV! picture quality is amazing. sound is great for a tv....most tv's now adays are too quiet to even hear without a soundbar...this tv has no problems. as far as the people giving it 1 star complaining about the apps being placed where they are and that they "have no choice but to accept the home screen that samsung provides." are just stupid and either don't know how to read a manual or use the internet to find information. tv is very good performance wise too, so once again don't listen to dummies that don't know how to use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tons of features and easy to set up i couldnt be happier with this purchase. the picture is crystal clear and it sounds great. everything worked straight out of the box and setting it up was so fast and easy i thought i overlooked something. honestly, i suck at stuff like this but samsung has really streamlined the set up process making it as quick and painless as possible. with a little help my dog could do it. i would recommend this to anybody.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gaming love this tv. was going to go with the 75 but couldn’t fit in our car, target had the 70” so i reluctantly went with that. im glad i did. for where we put it on the wall, it was a perfect size. the picture is unreal. the only annoying thibg is when you are loading a game, like on an xbox, it switches to game mode, the switches off, the switches back on, not sure if thats a glitch but its not that bad

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good TV, Bad Remote the tv is fantastic, good quality, picture, and sound. the remote is terrible in my opinion. it is too busy! there are literally 42 buttons on this remote. pushing the incorrect button in a low lighting environment happens like…100% of the time because the buttons are not backlit and they are all crammed together. and the remote is rounded in the back which makes it difficult for smaller hands to hold. also there is a lag between the remote and the tv. it is super frustrating all around to use this remote.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed Received this TV for Christmas 2020 and was very excited to set it up and enjoy... too bad it refuses to stay connected to the internet. I've been on the phone with tech support and 2 different techs have come out to service the unit with no success. I called my internet provider and confirmed there was no issues (i work from home and am on video conferences for hours at a time). My other brand smart TV has no issues staying connected while streaming, I guess I'll try to return this and go with a product/brand that I have more confidence in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from its fine but..... i understand that this is a big tv with a great low price so getting what you pay for is pretty accurate. 2 areas of recommended improvement. usb (only 2 slots) is only on back (and a bit loose fitting.). since it's mounted on wall, very difficult to access. second, the samsung smart tv user interface is terrible. it became so frustrating that i purchased roku for much better experience. again, cheap tv in more ways than one, but looks good on wall and for entry level, it serves its purpose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You get what pay for bought the 70” samsung crystal hd tv. i guess i had owned a better samsung model before. the picture is good in a dark room, but the screen itself reflects light badly. almost to the point you cant watch it during the day if your room get much daylight. i have learned after buying this one that the more expensive upper end tvs have an improved screen that os not as reflective wish i had known more a few weeks ago.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Its good the screen is great! however there is only 2 hdmi inputs on the back. i have dtv, a firestick, dvd player and a game system. how do you put these in just 2 hdmi ports? ill tell you. buy more stuff to make it work. the optical out is the only way to get sound out to my theater reciever. i cant get the sound to sync with the system. worked great on my old 55”. other than that. its great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Frustrating TV The interface lags causing you to click wrong things and the app store is complete garbage....the only way that I can download apps is to COMPLETELY default the TV. It will not work any other way. The apps just won't download. The picture quality is nice and the sound is good. The "brains" could use a lot of work.

I’ve owned this tv for 2+ yrs and after only one year I had to have the screen replaced which was covered under warranty. The tv now will not let me air play or mirror. I’ve talked with support 2x and it is still not working very dissatisfied!

While steaming u fund myself constantly exiting as instead of pausing or rewinding. That is very frustrating to me. I have another samsung tv, different model, and the remote is simple and easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TV size and picture matter! I bought this new tv to watch the Super Bowl and am very pleased with it. I wanted a large-screen tv with a great picture. The color is vivid and clear. It was easy to set up. It's picture is comparable to the high-dollar plasma tvs that cost so much more. The tv sound is good but I'm considering adding a soundbar with it to add more bass and mid-range sounds. I would recommend this tv to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV for the price! i love this tv. there are only 2 brands that i will buy, samsung and lg. i'm very impressed with this tv. i love how it knows what is plugged into the tv and auto labels it for you. always nice to know if i click on xbox, it goes to the xbox. this was the size i wanted to upgrade to from my 60" and i couldn't be more pleased. i've had no problems with menus or active apps on the tv. also, never judge a tv by what they have on display at your local store. store demo had a crappy picture, but that didn't sway me. brought it home and had it looking real sharp and bright with some minor adjustments to the picture. i love adjusting the settings to get what i want and this tv made it easy for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price and picture quality! this is our 3rd samsung tv purchase. we’ve also purchased other samsung appliances for our new home. the remote had a dedicated button for netflix and prime video which is great. only downside is that there is no app store for me to download directv stream to the tv to connect it to my provider. wished the remote buttons would light up or maybe be a little bigger my 5 year old used this tv the most the kids channels included are great for him.
