Rated 5 out of 5 by from High End Garbage. samsung quality has fallen down. i brought this tv, and it broke down twice in a year. i am still stuck with this junk. it broke down in 4 months after i brought, they replaced the screen, and now it broke down again after another 8 months. what a piece of pricey junk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not what I have come to Expect from Samsung... i am upgrading from a sharp 80" but i also have a samsung un55hu8550 which is one of the greatest tv's i have ever owned. i was expecting the same from the q90t but i was very disappointed. pros: picture cons: user interface is horrible remote is useless and 10 steps back from their magic remote apps often do not start on the 1s2 or 2nd try audio is directed away from your speakers and sent to the tv randomly. only way to solve is to reboot . gaming consoles like the ps4 have problems with screen glitches and if you use psvr wit h the ps4 you will get no picture at all. this is hands down the absolute worst tv i have ever owned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Defected unit, no power after a week after i set it up and ready to enjoy my samsung q90t 85-inch at night, i started realizing there are rainbow of lights reflecting from the recessed lighting on the tv screen and more and more becomes unwatchable especially when there is a dark scene. don’t know if i am getting a defected unit or this is how it is ? update: and just yesterday, after a week trying to get used to the rainbow glare, now the tv does no turn on ? i have called samsung service, first i was told it will be 2-3 days and after i begging for help, i was told someone will contacting me on the same day, but when i called back to the local service center is telling me it will be next week, this is nfl playoff weekend... i have decided to return it, will give lg a try instead

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Failed twice we purchased this tv as we loved the picture. our first one broke in 2 months. it made a pop sound and then never came back on. we got a replacement. within 5 minutes during setup, the tv broke again. it popped and never came back on. we are now having to buy a different brand as there is none in the area. i am highly disappointed in samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV ... Issue with Digital Surround sound system Great TV and great picture! It's huge but great for a large room. Also great for a room that has a lot of natural light .... you won't see the reflection on the TV. I use to have a plasma and all I could see was the reflection on the screen. This works out better. Only complaint I have is the audio sync delay when connected to my SONOS surround sound, I've spent a few days now trying to fix it and all user forums point to Samsung needing to send a patch update. SONOS has already updated their software.

The picture quality is superb and has amazing clarity as well as resolution. 4K content is simply stunning (can only wonder how 8k content will be). Viewing from any angle presents the same remarkable picture quality. The speakers (60 watts) are more than adequate and sound superb. However, we have paired this TV with the Samsung (Harman Kardon) Q90R soundbar and the sound is even more stunning. We have been fans of Samsung for almost two decades and are just wowed with each new Samsung product (technology). Very satisfied customer! Highly recommended!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I expected Coming from a 2018 Q8FN (75”) this tv is a step up, in every way. Colors are way more vibrant, motion handling is better, on and on. It’s amazing how larger TVs can display content these days. This tv is expensive, but if you are willing and able, pull the trigger, you will not be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First month review I was shopping for a new laptop and found my way over to the TV area. I saw a QLED 90T 85" next to the comparable LG OLED. I was blown away by the 90T. Bought it on the spot, had it delivered and set up. WOW! The pucture quality is fantastic. The sharpness is excellent, the blacks are black, not washed out. The remote works well with the apps. Gaming is super.

I love this TV, my only true complaint is the single 2.1 hdmi with next generation consuls almost here that will make gaming a bit frustrating having to swap back in forth. Not a deal breaker but at this price point it should have more then one 2.1 hdmi. Picture quality is mind blowing and so fast. Mounting the TV is the best bet at 85 inches typical tv stands just don't look right with it on them. Looking forward to gaming on this amazing tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good, still trying to make it great I purchased the 90t over the 80t primarily for the extra brightness and anti-glare as well as the sleeker profile. This is wall mounted in a very bright room with a lot of windows. Well first off it is BRIGHT. That's a good thing...I have to adjust it down, otherwise you actually have to squint a little! I am feeding HD cable into it along with BluRay. Much of the content is striking (esp. BluRay), other HD content "just" looks very good. I have been tweaking the picture settings for a couple of weeks, zeroing in on the right balance so everything will look great. I think content quality variations may be the issue. e.g. I can set it so a football game on Fox looks incredible but the game on CBS isnt as good, and vice versa. I think I'll find the right balance and be happy with everything, but was kind of hoping this would be simpler considering this is a top of the line set with all kinds of AI picture enhancers. As far as overall quality its very good...no gray screen artifacts, brightness is uniform, any blooming and blur is adjusted out and to my liking. The antiglare artifact of the 'rainbow effect' is real though. While the window reflections are minimal and I'm pleased with that, the overhead recessed lights do create a dim rainbow effect across the screen. In a dark scene this is noticeable. the easy solution is to turn off the lights which I'm fine with...at least the window reflections are gone. Overall a great set - no regrets with the purchase!

It's really hard for only two people to put it together but once it's done it looks amazing. A little on the expensive side but considering that it's an 85 inch and the picture quality I would say it was worth it. Thanks

Movies are amazing ps4 games look way better than on my 55 inch. There is zero blur on fast objects. I would recommend this tv for anyone looking to upgrade from their current set and can afford it. This tv is worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic quality I bought this tv after having the Samsung q7t which had a good picture and size but I needed a larger tv for my home remodeling. The size is incredible I love that it is perfectly flat and square it looks amazing. The picture quality is above reproach I have yet to see a tv OLED or otherwise that even comes close the blacks are almost perfectly black and the color fly’s off the wall. If you want size quality and don’t want to compromise this is the tv for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding!!! This TV is beautiful. The picture is truly amazing, the sound is actually really good for a tv (no soundbar and still really good sound). I love the apps and smart tv functions like adaptive picture and adaptive sound to the environment, picture in picture, and the display art or your own pictures function when tv programming is off. The only negative I would say other than it's on the pricey side (at least at the 85" level) is the speaking functions with Alexa or Bixby. It just really isn't as smooth as it should/could be. I find it easier and faster to just push buttons on the remote. That being said, if you can afford this TV, I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a very good tv This tv has a very good picture right out of the box and a lot of great futures. I have not calibrated the picture as a lot of people recommend yet but am pretty happy with it as it is. The picture is not as smooth when you are watching fast moving sports and movies (motion rate 240 which is 120 hz is not as good as 240 hz). I have an older LG edge led which has a 240 hz refresh rate and it has a much smoother picture. Also, I haven't been able to make the HDMI eARC to play the tv sound thru my home theatre even though my receiver has a HDMI ARC output and I have both 4K and 8K eARC capable cables.

It made instillation and mounting way more difficult and dangerous to the health of the tv... I have the tv in a tight space, so if I ever wanted to add an input device, i would have a difficult time connecting to the tv

It is an 85 inch TV and I was concerned that it may lose definition and clarity around the outer edges of the TV screen because it is so large. This is not the case. The picture quality around the far edges of the screen are just as perfect as in the center of the TV. And the sound is outstanding as well.

Great features -- love Samsung's integration with Smarthings, mobile & tablets, remote access to other PC's , remote keyboard & mouse, Ring devices integration with smartthings and notifications on screen. Great selection of streaming apps. Wish TV notifications for caller ID was available for mobile or land lines, other apps existed for Onvif camera viewing app, Gmail app, Skype with camera/video, and better browser choices would be great, or any apps from Android Store.

But when looking at the array of sets they had in the showroom we decided to shop with our wallet but buy with our heart! This TV had the most vivid picture and was so bright it put the others to shame. Its now hanging in our family room and greets us for movie night every weekend!

The UI is very easy to use and has smart features meaning it's easy to jump from one content provider to the next with recently viewed suggestions above to quickly get you where you want to go. The viewing angles are superior to other HD tvs we've see or tried. The automatic integration with our existing Samsung sound bar was super nice and easy. Cool that the sound bar volume is now controlled by the Q90T remote, so only one remote needed. When viewing true HD4K this TV is stunning, almost 3D depending upon the subject. I would highly recommend this TV to anyone wanting a huge TV with true HD4K delivery.

But after reviewing both TVs online and opting to give up a 65” plasma, I couldn’t be happier with this gorgeous TV! It’s wall mounted and the picture is more than amazing! The bright colors, the dynamic range and detail were stunning. I actually was sad to give up my plasma, because I was worried about pixels and gradations of smooth blacks and deep blacks, but im so glad I decided to purchase this beautiful 85” from Samsung. The black level is deep and there’s very little if any pixel gradation issues that I can see. You won’t be disappointed, now that football season is here everyone wants to come watch it at my home!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Anti reflective coating The 90T anti reflective coating is excellent. We had a Panasonic plasma and we had to close all our shades to view the tv. Even after closing the shades, the Samsung still performs better without the shades drawn. The one issue is that when you connect a new Samsung sound bar via hdmi eArc, it will disable the optical port so that I can't stream to my hearing aid streaming device. If I switch to the TV's internal speaker, I can stream to my hearing aid streamer and in addition a BT headphone. Once you activate BT headphone Tv automatically switches to built in speakers. Don't know why Samsung did this and not made optical stream available regardless of use hdmi eArc hookup to take advantage of all audio formats. Work around seems to be to change audio format to PCM signal from Auto, but at great loss of audio quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing TV BUT be wary of Samsung Upgrade Program love the tv. but! i just ordered the q90t 85" (over 2 years from initial device) and have not been granted my upgrade credit. no one from samsung can tell me if i am receiving it. over $1200!! there are no clear cut instructions on the upgrade process, so i simply ordered my new tv and opted in to the upgrade program once again. i thought that was sufficient. perhaps not. between these 2 tv's alone i have 8k worth of samsung products, not including the the other 2 samsung tv's i own (over 12k total). if not granted, i will never buy another product from this company. someone from samsung loyalty, etc please address a loyal customers concerns. thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty Decent TV This tv has a pretty good picture with great clarity. Works very well when connected to the accompanying sound bar from Samsung. I think I’m most surprised by the sparse remote control device and I’m not a big fan of the user interface. I imagine they veered away from making a big clunky remote but I feel they went too minimalist in my opinion. No no number pad or lighted controls on the remote make it difficult to use at night and difficult to navigate. The tv is loaded with multiple apps and you can find more apps by searching on the tv menu. Getting to the apps and accessories area of the tv is straightforward and easy. Interface with your phone and tv thru the Samsung app is also a nice feature and allows you to play music etc. The tv also provides visual screens that play along with your music should you desire to have background mood with your music. All in all I am happy with the product and satisfied and would not hesitate to purchase again in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing picture quality i was upgrading from a 2017 sony led and the quality of the image is much improved. the picture quality is superb, the gui is fast and lag free, and the price when on sale is worth it. the only thing that could be better is the remote controll. this is the best 4k set samsung makes and the remote could be more upscale.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Bad Quality TV This TV won't turn on anymore after less than 6 months in use. The image quality is fine, but that is irrelevant now that the TV doesn't turn on anymore. I am 100% unhappy with my purchase.
