I'm very happy we went with Samsung for both our main TV and sound bar. We spent a little more but it was worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Companion for QLED Series Televisions i picked this up to replace an aging sony soundbar for my new q70t samsung qled tv. needless to say- they were made for each other. just use the earc connection with the included hdmi cable and its simple 'plug and play'. the sound is clear and the virtual surround really creates a more immersive experience. the wireless sub connects automatically and really rumbles when the bass levels are turned up (try the t-rex scene in the original jurassic park to try it out). its a worthwhile and seamless addition to a qled based home theatre.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW! i had an older samsung soundbar and it was much better than the tv speakers, but i have problems hearing dialogue. i have tried several soundbars that promise to fix that but didn't. i installed this soundbar and set it on adaptive sound and that fixed that. last night i felt like watching a couple of action movies (didn't need to hear the dialogue all that much) so i set it to virtual reality 3d sound. blew me away. sound was coming from everywhere. and i still could hear the dialogue pretty good. not because it was louder. just clearer. when detective sanchez asks captain raydor "what should we do with the perp?" (and you can understand it) and she answers "muffin am makem hay", louder don't get it done. but this speaker does.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sound quality nice looking soundbar but the sound quality is not so good. i hooked to my brand new samsung tu8300 tv and the sound was so low that i had to put it up to 30 just to hear it. this is not my frist soundbar andit was hooked up correctly. i was so disapoonted that i returned it sad to say because i swear by samsung products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not as advertised and very low volume i received my new sound bar today, samsung hw-q60t. very disappointed, i wanted a new bar to replace a 9 year old vizio. i had to use 2 remotes with the vizio, one for the sound bar one for the tv, i decided to buy a samsung to use with my samsung tv so the 2 could pair and only need 1 remote as advertised, but this is not happening. i called support and was told unfortunately i will need 2 remotes. there is no volume, i run the volume up to volume level 100 on the sound bar and it sounds like my tv speakers at volume level 35. if samsung can help with these problems i will probably keep it, but i'm not spending hours on the phone with a tech i can barely understand what they are saying, otherwise it will be going back and i will keep my vizio.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does not connect to Smart Things APP i am happy with the sound of the sound bar. however, i am extremely disappointed that it will not connect to the smartthings app and therefore is unable to connect to alexa. this is highly disappointing. i have had this confirmed by samsung after multiple attempts to connect. i have had this a week and wish i had done more research instead of assuming it would connect since it has bluetooth and is the 2020 model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from no "Q-Symphony" the "q-symphony" feature its not available on the q series tvs. tyou are very veague in the description of your productds and consumers won't realize how lacking and limited these q series tvs and soundbars are. extremely disappointed with quality after purchase my tv and soundbar, i was excited when i bought, excited at delivery, and was completely let down by the bad initial quality samsung has to offer with the q series lineup. bad product series. i even tried contacting the 1-800-samsung support line and they were as helpful as a stick in the mud. phone rep said they only help/support new customers who are looking to buy new products online, so he point blank said we already have your money nothing i can do to help, gave me confirmation number and hung up!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not good for the price this unit is for our family room, replacing a soundbar we paid $50 for. the sound on this samsung model is not great. the only setting that seems to work is adaptive-everything else puts thevoices at a murmur. with adaptive selected we lose significant quality of non-voice sound, which means you’ll be left wondering how those scores got nominated for academy awards. there is also a small annoyance that the unit keeps switching the sound to bluetooth, and i have to switch it back. i tried contacting customer service via chat. it took 40 minutes to get him to come up with three suggestions: unplug it, then plug it back in; reset the television; drive the soundbar (and presumably the tv) to the nearest service center, three hours away.

Not worth it i bought this soundbar before black friday at best buy for my samsung tv q55. the sound is not much different from tv speakers. tried to adjust the equalizer manually but the sound is still terrible. the subwoofer is trash ,very weak and quiet ... i had experience with yamaha soundbars (yas-109, yas-209 and yas-2090) their sound is much better, clear, deep and rich bass and and crisp sound ...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fills the room with rich sound fills my room with rich sound. it paired with my q8 65" tv immediately with bluetooth i would go as far as to say all you do is plug it in and it's ready. great bass from the wireless powered sub woofer and makes it easy to put anywhere in the room. i completely recommend this soundbar .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Xbox one set up I just updated my older Samsung soundbar and this new one is much better. I really like the DTS Virtual X and Game Pro sound mode when playing Xbox. I do wish they still had the "night" sound mode though. Make sure to use HDMI over optical cable for better sound options! Also, I did have a problem with the soundbar not sending the signal to the TV when I tuned my Xbox on. It was giving me a "Source not found" message. I made sure I connected the devices for optimal performance too. (XBOX HDMI> SOUNDBAR HDMI>SOUNDBAR ARC OUT>TVARC) Here are my settings that fixed that issue. From your Xbox do the following; 1. Settings. 2. TV & display options. 3. TV & Oneguide 4. Device control, and activate the following options; HDMI-CEC, Console on turns display off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product first thing i will start off saying that the product is packaged very well and secured so if you are having it shipped to your house, it should show up at your door safely and intact. subwoofer and soundbar look to be built very well and look great. installation and setup is very easy on any tv. samsung, vizio and sony tv remotes control volume for sound bar also so you don't have to use the one that comes with it. out of the box the sound is not that bad honestly but after adjusting sound mode then tweaking treble and bass it sounds awesome. adjust subwoofer to your preference and enjoy some great music or your favorite movies and games. very happy with this product

My Q70R seems confused. i purchased the q60t to connect to my 2019 q70r qled tv. the sound is great unless i enable intelligent mode on the tv, which forces the soundbar into adaptive sound mode which isn't nearly as nice as surround. also, the tv has no clue what to do with dts:x. probably should have waited and purchased the q70t instead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not compatible with smart devices i definitely should have read the specs more carefully. this model was not compatible with any of my devices. the bluetooth wouldnt connect to my roku tv, fire tv, alexa, or even my samsung phone. after a week of frustration, i found the list of devices that are compatible to add to a smart home or other devices, this system is not one. we were able to connect to a tv through hdmi. the sound is great. heavy bass, which we liked. it would work well for someone not looking for smart technology.

It was recommended as a perfect match; it setup easily and quickly syncing to the TV as soon as it was detected. The sound is about average and the bass is a little on the slight side but overall a good match for the TV and a 340 sq ft room. A little on the pricey side for what you get but if you want simply good sound and quick setup with your Samsung Q series television it's a good, not excellent but good buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Won't connect with rear speakers this soundbar originally worked great and connected perfectly with my samsung tv and swa-8500 rear speakers. then i upgraded to a 2020 model samsung tv, and now i can't connect to my rear speakers. i've spent more than four hours troubleshooting with samsung, but they were not able to offer any solutions besides send the rear speakers in. however, i sent them in last month and they were returned with no issues. do not buy. samsung will not offer any support if they do not work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good sound but one question? treble and bass control is alternative for 7 band equalizer (not together). in hw-m550 – displays correctly, e.g bass-150hz+2db, treble 10khz +2db and eq display : 150hz +2db, 300hz-0, 600hz -0 ,1,2khz 0, 2,5khz – 0 and 5khz-0 and 10khz+2db (treble) + possibility control in q60t: control equalizer, start modify eq settings, soundbar pass in standard mode and only in standard mode correcty display eq settings, but in game pro, adaptive, surround, dts virual x and i see - 150hz-0, 300hz-0 ….10khz-0 ....but i 'm hearing difference! equalizer working in all modes, if play some music with loud trebble and settings 300hz -6, 600hz - 6, 1,2khz-4, 2,5khz +3 ,5khz +6, 10khz - difference in all modes be heard. is the display software error? sorry for my english.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for small apartment/townhome This is my first soundbar so I have nothing to compare it to other than my last 5.1 system. The simplicity of setup and not having to run wires all over the room is a huge plus. If I had the option to I would have gone with a full 5.1 but this is a great substitute for apartment living that won’t upset your neighbors, or if you just want to give your movies a little more action without getting into running and hiding wires all over. I could definitely hear the dts virtual x throw sounds around the room which I enjoyed. The soundbar is overall very appealing to look at and is easy to operate. My living room is not very big but this sound bar has no trouble filling the space, however the subwoofer is a little underwhelming, but I could not expect it to compete with my last 10 inch woofer. This also makes for a great improvement in sound quality without spending 1500-2000 dollars on a new theater system. Overall very satisfied with performance so far hope some of this helps. I do think the list price of $500 is a little steep, I would like to see it close to $400, and I only bought it because it was on sale. I am writing this review on the day of purchase since I could not find any other reviews for this soundbar online and just wanted to try to help some people out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A cut above the rest Was worried when I sat down to review it seeing there wasn’t any reviews on this product yet so took a gamble on it but boyyyyyy was it worth it I’ve had the same old blue ray surround sound for years n def needed a upgrade was tired of being bound by wires but hey it was a Samsung as well but I’ve had it for 7 years n non wireless n it was taking its toll from years of splicing n wear n tear I was not disappointed at all set up was so easy took me longer to unbox then to adjust to learning the ins n outs the sub woofer is amazing I was thinking I wouldn’t get the same quality as I did with old reliable but it’s even better the sound is crisp n u feel emerged in what ever u are playing from shows to movies to even gaming and I’m a hugger gamer I highly recommend this to any n all who see this review I’m now a believer n best part no messy cables or unwanted clutter glad I chose to stay with Samsung all the pros n none of the cons n I’m not one to write a review yet look at me 10 mins in don’t take my word see for yourself n become a believer now I’m looking into investing in a tv from Samsung def got a customer for life now to see about the rear speakers to complete my gaming man cave .... I should have bought sooner

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Woofer is terrible, low bass bought this along with a q80 4k qled tv, big dissappointment. very low bass from woofer, you need to raise the volume to at least 30 to get sound from the woofer. spent more than 2 hours with the tech at samsung, went through every connection, then was finally told this is the way it is. i called samsung today & returned this product. i am a bit afraid to go with another samsung soundbar, all the reviews state the woofer sound is very low. i also bought a new q80 4qled from samsung, now i have a new tv but no soundbar. i am extremely dissapointed. does samsung make a soundbar with a decent bass sounding woofer, that will compliment my new q80 4k qled tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soundbar Value in early october 2020 i purchased the soundbar. at the same time i also purchased a oled tv, cell phone, ear buds spending nearly $3,000. being in my 70's i wanted a better quality audio experience when watching home theater. i was let down with the quality of sound i am getting from this soundbar. i think the tv speakers deliver a better sound other than the woofer experience which fills the room with bass. to make matters worse i noticed today the same sound bar i bought for $460. is now $279. 30 days later! i was going to return the soundbar and buy the better one but there are no returns after 14 days! (now they give you 100 days!!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sounds pretty good bought a samsung series 9 tv. search for sound bars & this one came up. had good reasons to buy even though it was twice what i paid for my current bar. easy set up, works w/ tv sound, hdmi arc, samsung bar for samsung tv. had to buy rear speaker kit, but hey! it's samsung! made for my new s9 tv! should sound better right? wrong. it sounds great, just has no "wall rattling" bass like my last bar. woofer turned up all the way, low end freqs up on the eq in tv, and no woofer. plugged in and connected to bar. can hear and feel it when i stand next to it. doesn't "shake the walls" at 70 during scenes that last system did at a third of that volume. easy to install and connect. works seamlessly with tv remote. bass is not there. for $400+ it should rattle the neighbors walls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expectations Met, although … this soundbar replaced an older sony that i owned for about six years. as such, the samsung hw-q60t is doing a great job. likes: presence, it’s a well-built product. it has several sound options and once set, it can fill a mid size room with no problem; it can get loud. dislikes: although the hw-q60t has enough sound options, you may not hear enough differenciation between some of them; i find myself using dts-x for almost everything. the remote control could be a little different from other samsung remotes, so you don’t have to write ‘soundbar’ on it rand emove the mute function from the volume bottom. the hw-q60t is a good product for the price, but i’ll be wandering if i should have gotten the yamaha yas-209 instead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible product. Terrible customer service I bought this 12/15 2020 to have a more compact and less wired sound. Honestly I like how it sounds. I think it’s great. It just rarely works. The tv arc loses connection all the time. The audio optical port also doesn’t work. Every week we would have yrouble with it and it would magically just start working again a few days later. But this time it has been down 2 weeks. Samsung can never do anything to help and even tho it has a 1 year warranty they have not done anything to help us replace it. Obviously the tv arc port is not working. We have confirmed all out cables work on other products except the soundbar. So if you sell me a malfunctioning unit for $400 and do not take the proper steps to help me resolve the issues it’s not good. We have all Samsung and apple products. Now I have to find a replacement for Samsung because I would hate to experience this again especially after spending that kind of money

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded My expectations! Exceeded my expectations I am not one to write a review after 24 hours of receiving an order but this is an exception. First of all, I read many reviews here where people are saying this product is below standard and all that... But this is NOT true. Before you by an item anywhere, if you can put your money towards wanting to buy an item, then you should be able to take your time to read the fine prints, do your research and read about a potential purchase. That being said, I have used really high-end sound-bars in the past and this particular sound bar is not a match for any sound-bar in its category. In order to get the thrill of this sound-bar, You have to own and use with a compatible QLED TVs, especially the 2021 Q60, Q70, Q90 and so on. It is SPECIFICALLY designed for those tvs. You will not get the thrill of this sound-bar with any other tv series, trust me. I initially wanted to get this sound-bar for my bedroom samsung 6 series tv because I have a sony soundbar that I was using with my 2021 Q60A in my living room. However, Upon reading that this is made exclusively for Qled series, I had to set it up with my Q60A and tried it. It was LOVE AT FIRST SOUND! I had to leave it in the living room with my Q60A TV and now use my sony sound-bar for my bedroom. Set-up time for this unit with a compatible Qled TV is very short and easy. After successfully setting up, I am beyond impressed with the surround sound and the clarity of sound. Personally, I hardly go beyond volume #20... The result??? picture yourself in a cinema... This is an amazing product at a steal! not once did I or will I ever regret my purchase. The clarity of the surround sound is impeccable and exceptional! if there’s any complaints about this product, it’s the wall mount kit- the screws that came with mounting kits are very small and wont hold well in any wall so also is the mount kit itself; it is small and does not hold the bar fully in place; so to avoid any accidental dropping of the sound-bar, had to jump on amazon to find a suitable mount kits. I recommend this sound bar if you own a QLED series tv especially 2021 Qled series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not near as good as your less expensive bars the 450 is amazing. clear and easy to hear vocals at any volume and i can adjust how loud i hear the other sounds. the 6 series i can hear the "other sounds" amazingly. it's wonderful, but i cant hear anything anyone on screen is saying unless i turn the volume up to a level that makes every other noise shake the house. this is fine when i am home alone watching john wick, but not when everyone is home and we are just trying to relax and watch some light tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soundbar is good quality this was given to me as a christmas gift. this product was very easy to set up and get working. you do have to mess around with the the settings to get the sound you are looking for. my problem with this product is the under performing sub. i have the sub set to 6+ and it is still underperforming as compared to a smaller samsung sounbar/sub set that i have on another tv. i am seriously considering moving the smaller set up to my family room and putting this q60 on a tv in a different room. any suggestions to get better performance from sub?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good sound for movies i bought this on black friday thinking it was a good deal after reading some reviews on it. the sound is good for tv but when playing music it has a very low max volume. that is the main reason i dont rate it higher and am disappointed with the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound i was thrilled with the sound quality. however, the two buttons on the remote for the different sound modes and treble/bass adjustments do absolutely nothing. i will need to follow up with the support group.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung sound bar Fantastic sound for the price. My first ever sound bar and I couldn’t be happier. Dell’s customer service rep knew the products well and really helped me find what I was looking for.
