Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the one to buy Every Samsung tablet before this one was cheap, laggy trash. I'm sorry but it's true. I've never had a Samsung tablet that wasn't laggy, and that includes the Galaxy Tab S4. I gave them ONE last chance to impress me iwth the S5e and they pulled it off. An incredibly thin tablet with a beautiful display, perfect sound, and virtually NO application/launcher lag (I mean, you can make anything lag, but it won't default to it.

It does exactly what it is designed to do. I dont play games, I dont draw pictures therefore I am not looking for those specs. It does what I need, superbly. However not with a Galaxy S9+ phone, you must have a Galaxy S10 for this feature to work. This is not necessarily a fault of the tablet, just careless marketing. Otherwise this tablet is fantastic.

The tab s5e is light n thin jus to need make Them into 8.4 inch to beside that im loving highly recommend it the high resolution screen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed Pre-ordered the tablet and eagerly waited for it to arrive. Started updating and it crashed. Restarted it and it froze. Restarted it again and got to the start-up screen and there it stayed. Until the battery died, Charged it and same thing. 2 days old and had to ship it back to Samsung for repair. They should have just sent me a brand new one not repaired the frozen on. And I'll be without the "repaired" one for who knows how long. Not really acceptable.

If this was the case than it would of been called a 2 in 1 or something else. But this tablet has GREAT battery life, GREAT sound and very good graphics when it comes to gameplay. This tablet is pretty much for entertainment, if you enjoy a tablet for entertainment this is it. If you want a powerful tablet that has the potential of replacing your laptop then look for the Samsung tab s4.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from About Calls and Messages Continuity Tablet's great, thin, light, loving DeX, but.... Not cool with the misleading advertising. Even in the small print it states that any Galaxy device with Android 9 Pie and 3gigs of RAM will have the Call and Message Continuity feature. I have an S9 updated that I've been trouble shooting for almost two hours to figure out why the CMC wasn't showing up on the phone's settings and just found another page that I had to google to find with a cute little "Compatibility" button that says only for the S10s, Note 10 and the Fold. Squirreled that little nugget away to encourage people to upgrade didn't ya? If you're like me and got duped (yeah my fault for not researching more) there's still Samsung Flow but of course that's acting weird too. Yey troubleshooting! I'm talking a star on features out of spite. Great tablet otherwise!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great size and shape weird screen refresh I love the size and shape but the screen refreshes crooked when its in portrate mode (the long way for reading the most text) the text on the left refreshes quicker than the right side so the text bends untill the left side catches up. it doesnt happen in layout mode (horizontal like you would have it for movies). I thought I was seeing things but using my phone I recorded the screen in slomotion and you can clearly see the left side of the screen refresh after the right which with the naked eye makes the text or pictures bend. If this is fixed in an update it gets 5 stars from me.

I decided to give it a try - WOW am I glad I did it is amazing! It is to be 100% honest the only tablet I have ever had to hold a candle to apple Ipad products. Would definitely purchase again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great thin low weight tablet I upgraded from an 8 inch Fire HD tablet. This is so much lighter and thinner even though the screen is more than 2 inches bigger. It has a beautifully constructed metal case. I would caution that the back is very slippery when holding. I just bought the Samsung book case for it. It hardly adds to the weight or thickness and makes holding the tablet much easier. Very satisfied.

I have to keep the backplate loosely attached to not put pressure on the battery connector. There were so many complaints on the Web about this but Samsung never fixed it !!!! So here I sit with a defective tablet. Will never buy another Samsung product !!!!!!!!

The S5 is much lighter and has a wider, brighter screen that is readable in bright light and indirect sunlight. The images and videos are exceptionally impressive, as is the sound, so much as that viewing and hearing musical videos becomes mesmerizing. Great job Samsung.

I purchased a Tab A (10") last year and have enjoyed the larger clear screen, but the weight and bulkiness of the device became an issue after I had an arm injury. Then I started reading the ad for the Tab S5e, and was impressed with everything I read about it. Upon receiving the device I can say I could not be happier! The device is still as powerful as my Tab A, and just as clear. The sound from the internal speakers is outstanding, and it's weight is fantastic! A bit pricey, but, since this injury, lifting the Tab S5e is a non-issue. The only problem I have right now is the availability of screen protectors and cases. I'm sure they'll be in stock soon enough.

Also, the on/off button is flush with the case, not raised like the media button. Do like the other features, especially the amount of storage. That keeps it rated 4 and not 3.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tablet all around! right off the bat, the screen vibrance and brightness caught my eye. the amoled screen definition makes anything you do look pleasant in any light or brightness. the device is slim and light and comfortable to hold. performance is excellent and interface is simple, yet customizable which is why i liked it better than an ipad. can easily be used as a laptop replacement for light duty. battery life is excellent. i can use it all day long with plenty of charge left for the next day if i forget to charge it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vibrancy this tablet is a step-up from my galaxy tab a. the first time i booted it up the screen proved to be a major improvement. it's clear and bright with vibrant colors. the sound reproduction is excellent. i had never before experienced surround sound from a tablet! i threw the saint-saens organ symphony at it and it was able to carry it off with aplomb. i really enjoy the fast charging and long battery life. it's one of the best improvements of recent designs. samsung has packed a lot of features into this sleek device. now that i have had a chance to work with it, i continue to be amazed at all of the customizations which are available. you can really configure it to your preferences and requirements. bravo samsung!

Watched a couple movies (which I downloaded from Netflix) I'm amazed at the quality on the picture. Would like to have one in 12". Syncing with my phone is very handy.

The audio Dolby Atmos audio is great - except for when you're holding the tablet. -When holding the tablet, it's easy for your hand to cover one of the four speakers. The display quality is fantastic. I do sometimes get weird system messages where the OS refers to the tablet as a "phone" (eye roll.) The battery life is phenomenal. It's definitely something that requires a screen protector and a sturdy case. I alternate between a Spigen rubber case, and the Samsung keyboard cover.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Review for Galaxy Tab S5e 10.5", 64GB, Black (W Before I bought this tablet, I did quite a bit of research. I mostly looked at what others who had one liked and did not like.If there are any dislikes that I can't live with, I stop looking at the product. I saw some things but mostly related to the functionality out of the box. Sure you can get a lemon from any product occasionally. The good points greatly outweighed any bad stuff. I'll do the bad first. The first thing I noticed is how easy it is to smudge up the screen. The glossy shine shows up any finger prints - times two. So you will be wiping it down a lot. Another thing that makes it a good product (thin and lightweight) also makes it easy to drop - not a good thing. Lastly, the buttons on the side are a little awkward to press while the tablet is sliding around in your left hand. But now the good - This issue can be solved by buying a tablet cover. I opted for the "Fintie" bluetooth wireless keyboard/cover combination - about $35$ on Amazon. Good feel and the cover and keyboard fold up into one book like package. Nice! Still may need a table screen protector down the road. The screen size is great and nowhere as heavy as an IPAD that is smaller. The display is spectacular! I like that I can carry all my tv watching with me to any room. I can use the cover as a hands free stand if you remove the keyboard (magnetic). The sound is ok from the 4 speakers (yeah I said 4), but they are not powerful enough to fill a room. Better to use some bluetooth earplugs although it comes with an adapter to use a wired headset. I got the 64 gb version with the option for 128 gb. Added a few simulation games and other apps, all with no issues. I still need to figure out how the other bells and whistles work, but I am quite pleased and would recommend it. Its a little more than I wanted to spend initially, but I've learned with other purchases that if you do your homework its worth a little more to put a smile on your face when you use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Android On The Market When I found the Samsung Tab S5e for sale. I bought one and I was not disappointed at what I got for my money. After going through setup and numerous test trials. I came away very impressed with the setup of the Samsung S5e. In fact I looked up the Cover/Keyboard for the S5e and found I could get one locally. After purchasing the keyboard and paring the S5e to the keyboard I was even more impressed with the work the S5e could do. The only slow down in setting up the S5e was paring an HP Printer. It seams HP was not keen on wanting to pair it's printer with the Android Operating System. After I got the latest version of Smart HP, the problem went away and the S5e prints just fine to HP Printers using the Wi-Fi Connection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME! i absolutely love this tablet. from the speed of browsing the internet, the screen graphics & overall performance. samsung always makes a top notch product. i went to samsung tablets and phones back in 2014 after trying apple. the ease of using samsung is so much better. i do have one little complaint but it is from using verizon not the samsung tablet and phone itself. the tablet is supposed to be integrated with samsung for calls & messages from your phone. but verizon has blocked this so you have to use verizon messenger to receive calls which is pretty much garbage compared to what other messaging apps are out there. didn't know this when i bought it. verizon kind of pulled a screwed up move if you just bought this tablet for wifi. i would totally recommend this tablet to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive I had an S2 way back in the day and always loved it (the screen, build quality, Samsung apps, etc.) I've been trying to find a decent tablet for the past six months when I purchased the Tab A 10.1 in November. It was nice overall, a little anemic at times but overall, good for the sale price of 160.00 (32gb model). Then the S5e went on sale, which pushed open box prices down further and next thing I knew, I purchased the S5E for less than $120.00 more than the Tab A. And I haven't been disappointed. The screen is awesome, battery life is great, performance is snappy, and the DEX interface gives me the feeling I have a Surface (with a slight suspension of disbelief). Good job Samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NICE ONLY ON THE OUTSIDE -- DO NOT BUY IT!!!! at first it seems nice, but... the on/off button is difficult to press and as it serves also as fingerprint reader, does niot work very well. some apps do not work, im use the amazon kindle reader app which worked fine on my previous samsung tablet, but on this one it does not work! the same hapopens with other apps that do not work correctly.tger apps like severalversions of bibles. unfortunsately i cannot return it because i no longer have the original box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed... in limited wifi availability my new s5e doesn't pickup our own wifi signal within our own house. my s tab 10, not only shows our signal but wifi capability around our neighborhood. much greater capability. once connected, i may lose it if i hold the tablet landscape style. seems to stay on signal a bit better holding it portrait style! is there any way to "fix" this limitation? very frustrating and at this point i would not purchase this new model over the tab 10, that i have had several years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from screen swipe failing at 14 months two months out of the warranty, the screen swipe function is failing and makes this tablet pretty much useless for anything that requires scrolling the screen. like playing games and reading the news. at 479 dollars that's too much for only 14 months of use. everything else functions as it should and i really liked this tablet and hoped for several more years of use. at this point support recommended i send it in for diagnosis and repair [at my expense].

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful size, great display! if you need a home media tablet or just a tablet to play games on (or read a nice book!) i can honestly recommend this tablet. its display is gorgeous to look at, and its very fast and responsive. it won't leave you squinting to find any small details, either! since i got this tablet i can also say the audio is absolutely stunning. it's got 4 speakers and they allow for bold and crisp sound even on low volume levels. battery life isn't a concern for me, either! i was not disappointed for the price! it was definitely worth it :) not recommended for small children though; the device is thin and lightweight and could easily be broken or damaged by less careful hands! i recommend you get a case for it either way!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tablet! Love my new Samsung tablets, easy to use and find what i am looking for. Very light. Definately needed a case to hold on to it. This replaces Fire tablets we had been using and a surface.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best affordable tablet i bought this tablet one year ago at an excellent price in the online samsung store and there hasnt been a single day i dont use it and i enjoy it more everyday. great for media and work also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great but.... Was great but the WiFi dropped out often. Wasn’t useable for online games or streaming. I took it back and might try it again if they fix the issue
