Enables DEX mode on my TV
DEX mode full screen works well, great feature. Only supports maximum 1080p resolution on my 4K TV, and when connected to my Tab S4 it's not possible to charge the battery so I'll need to charge it at night to be able to use DEX on the day.

Quit working after 1 month
This was delivered a month ago. I used it to mirror my phone to a TV to watch Netflix every other day or so. The cable doesn't move,nor does the device it is connected to. But today I go to use it and it won't mirror. I restarted my phone numerous times. And shut the TV on and off. Even tried it on another device with no luck.

It works really easily, much cheaper than the dex docking station and lets you easily switch between dex output and mirror screen...

When it’s going in to dex mode it doesn’t charge my phone and I have a galaxy s10 plus but it does work tho

Awesome and very handy!
My video card on CPU went out so I was stuck without a computer for a few days. I thought it'd be a good time to try out Samsung DeX. Boy was I surprised! DeX was smoother and faster than my desktop computer! It exceeded my expectations. Just plug up the USB-C to hdmi cable and it boots up in seconds. There was only one app that I had on my Note 9 that didn't work in DeX mode and that was a bummer. But if you run the DeX app in developer mode you can run virtually any app. I love it!

Does not connect to my samsung laptop
The product is great no doubt about it.. it works for my TV.. however, I've tried to connect it to two different laptops and it doesnt work... it only charges my phone which is not the purpose of the cable

this product is good. we don't have cable this works to watch movies off the phone... only disappointment... it does not charge your phone while your using it. let the iphone cord does.

Comes in very handy

In Today's Age
In today's world, there are both HDMI and DisplayPort monitors. And DisplayPort Monitors seems to work better with computer, do to graphic card integration. Why not make cables for both?

DeX cable -- for Tab A?
This Samsung product ad tells no useful information on --if this cable-connector is usable with Tab A 8, --or if the connector (bad photo angle) will fit a standard hdmi (D) socket (like most phones & many mobile devices), --or how long the cable is, --or if the tablet connector fits only usb-c. Not helpful & not recommended. & Very over-priced. There are better aftermarket connectors out there, too bad Samsung can't provide it.

Bad Idea
Having used the DeX Station with my S8, and now using the DeX Cable with my S10
Additional USB slots - Gone (you must have bluetooth mouse and keyboard)
Ethernet/RJ45 slot - Gone (only wireless connection)
No more charging - for goodness sake!!! why would you remove such? if Im at home working on a project using the DeX, it is the convenience of leaving my desk with a charged phone... why would you remove such a feature? (you need a wireless charger to place your phone on while plugged into the DeX cable.
I still think they should have kept the station as opposed to the cable.
