Rated 5 out of 5 by from *UPDATE*Apparently you can't edit or update your previous review.....but there are ways around that. I would like to update the review from BrickWallChaser. Ok so I feel stupid. Finally figured out how to change the brightness. So thank you Samsung for putting that feature on it, it makes a difference. Also noticed the backlight keyboard isnt always lit, and in tablet mode I was having trouble getting the screen keyboard to pop up to start typing. I also want to point out that this Chromebook seems to revolve around the internet. When you turn it on and sign in, it automatically opens chrome internet. Not saying that's bad, just putting that out there. Some apps have to restart when you decide to transition the chromebook from laptop to tablet and vice versa. I'm always scared when this happens because I'm not sure if my notes will be saved, so I save before just in case. One thing I found irritating, is that when you're in tablet mode, the way the screen automatically goes up and down, makes the sounds and lock button towards you, which makes it easy to hit the buttons. When trying to turn it to where the buttons and pen is facing up for easy access, some apps wont allow it to turn. So your stuck with the buttons against you. ALSO!!! I haven't figured out how to take notes on the lock screen!! That is one of the features I was looking forward too!! Does this one not have it?? Everytime you take the pen out (in tablet form and when screen is locked) it just unlocks the screen. Not cool man!! And the settings are super basic. Not as customizable as your smartphone for sure. I'm hoping for updates in the future that gives a little more perks, like the note taking on locked screen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it! Everything I expected and a little moreI bought this after being a mac user for years. I was hesitant, but I am so glad I went for it. I highly recommend this chromebook! The mac is now collecting dust. My daughter is considering the same chromebook for college next year as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly Competent Little Machine.I'm not sure all the hatred in these reviews. For web browsing and media, this device is top notch. I use it as my work machine when traveling and it can do everything I need. I wouldn't want it as my daily driver for work, but it's definitely competent. I also installed crouton, and having linux as a backup makes it a fully functional computer. Batter life is good, screen is amazing, keyboard is so so. Would gladly purchase again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Touchscreen is prone to FailureA week after my warranty ended the Chromebook screen stopped responding to touch. If you research it, this is a common occurrence. I've got Samsung TVs, phones, even appliances. But I will no longer buy their Chromebooks or computers. $500 wasted. Considering a Google Pixel Slate or a Microsoft Surface Go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from mediocre and overpricedbattery life is sub par.32g onboard is just ridiculous considering that the previous model had 64g...which is still too little.I feel like Samsung just tarted up the keyboard so they could get rid of some old stock before the real new model. The backlit keyboard is nice, but I should have just got a used one.The screen is real nice...or was...now has dead pixels. phht. consider me underwhelmed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from had a year and love it. BUT the pen gets stuckI have had this one year and love it. Very light weight, but nice size for typing. I do not miss my heavy mac at all! Would recommend EXCEPT be careful of the pen. It gets stuck because the spring mechanism in the stylus stops working well. I have to find a way to store the pen so I don't lose it because I can't put it in the slot provided. It is a BIG bummer...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great 2 in 1This is a perfect laptop for college! I've only had it a week but it is great. I love taking my notes on it and it is super light. So far I have nothing negative to say about it. This is definitely a great option for students!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ChromebookI bought this chromebook to use for school. It has turned out to be a great chromebook so far. I am able to get everything done laptop wise fairly easy on it, and when I fold it back into tablet mode it performs well as a tablet also. The only downside to this chromebook would be its battery life. It only holds about 5-6 hours of usage, but the quick charge feature makes up for this, fully charging the chromebook in about an hour.
