Rated 5 out of 5 by from only 1 of 3 good I have never posted a review online before, but I was so dissatisfied with how the customer service people dealt with me I had to post this. I have 3 Voyager Legend bluetooth products. One works great. One works poorly - everyone keeps telling me I sound like I am a long way away from the phone. The third works fine, but the rubber split at the top which makes it hard to keep it on your ear. When I called Plantronics on 4/2/20 to find out what could be done re the 2 that had problems, I encountered the most passive-aggressive customer service person I have ever dealt with. He was clearly unhappy about having to work that day, and I finally asked to talk to a supervisor. After waiting about 10 minutes while he said he went looking for one, he said no supervisor was available but that he would have one call me. Here we are - 5 days later and I still haven't heard from anyone at Plantronics. I will think long and hard about spending any more money with these people.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Each Over the Ear Voyager has the same design flaw I have purchased 3...that's right, 3 of the exact same product. Each one of them lasts about a year before they wear apart. The issue is with the swivel base. This base exists in the Legend, Pro, 3200 and 5200. If you look at the swivel point on each of these headsets, they are all made of the exact same plastic that connects the earpiece to the over the ear base. After the first one, I thought it was just a fluke. The second one was expensable, so I got that money back. The third one was my third strike.... I guess I should have stuck with fool me once and not three strikes you're out. Overpriced and cheaply made. That's why their warranty is only 1 year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good as it Gets I've tested several of these devices related to call center work and, in my opinion, this device is about as solid as they get. The USB device works perfectly with Skype for Business, coordinating the calls between my cell and Skype without issue. If I grab my phone and leave, the phone's bluetooth connection continues seamlessly. The battery is strong and can fully recharge in about 20 minutes, to provide another 6 hours of use. The sound quality is good. Streams music and podcasts equally well. Phone range is pretty good. The PC range is my only complaint, as you can only get 10 feet away from the PC or so before the call is dropped, while the native frequency of a Plantronics Savi unit, for example, provides probably 300 feet of range. If this could be addressed, it would truly be the perfect device. Also, it's much more comfortable than Savi devices. The Savi's presence is always noticeable, whereas it's very easy to forget this device is on your ear. Despite the range restrictions, it's my favorite device. .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from headset is great, BT300 adapter broken Pros: awesome sound quality, great battery life Cons: the BT300 adapter for laptop is a complete disappointment. Have mine replaced twice by warranty since it just stopped syncing to the headset after a month of work. And you can't just replace the adapter - you need to sent the whole box with the headset back to the factory all for your own expense and wait a week for replacement to arrive. Just totally unacceptable for the money paid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So good, I bought two! This is the clearest, most comfortable Bluetooth headset I've ever used. When I wear it, I forget it's there, until the phone rings. The battery life is great and the audio quality is good in both directions. People usually hear no background noise when I'm on a call. I've had two. The first one physically broke due to an unfortunate incident. When I had an opportunity to replace it, I chose the same kind. It works great for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great headset The legend is for me the successor to my Voyager PRO. The PRO lasted me for 3 years it was great; this one is even better. Downside is that the voice commands are not well understood. I miss the function of just touching a button to hear my battery life. I use my legend at least 8 hours a day, fits great; don't feel it's there. Great with 2 charges in the case and many charging options. Never used my backup wired headset since the legend. Be aware that IE11 might not work out for updating firmware; changed to chrome for that Good stuff

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had to return due to proprietary charging cable I really wanted to love this, but as soon as I saw that the Micro-USB charging port had been replaced with a proprietary port needing a proprietary cable I knew it was going back. I use my Voyager Pro all day long and need to be able to charge whenever and wherever I am, and I can't keep looking for USB ports to plug the little cable into when I have a Micro-USB cord EVERYWHERE I go. I hope Plantronics will offer the future models with the Micro-USB port so I can buy their future versions again.

The noise canceling it provided when compared against a unidirectional wired microphone was exceptional. However when gathering recordings most people found the Voyager Legend UC difficult to put on and stay in their ear. I have found that selecting the right ear attachment helps, but the device still feels insecure. One point of troubleshooting was figuring out how to activate the mic when using with PC software other than Skype. This required first initiating a Skype call from the headset then ending it. After this step the microphone would send to PC applications other than Skype.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, Good sound. I bought this product to overcome a drawback of my new Sonim XP7 phone which has a microphone that produces muffled sound on the other end. The Plantronics Legend overcomes this problem beautifully. Both parties of the conversation are enjoying excellent sound quality. The bluetooth connection with the phone is established instantly when the headset is turned on and it works flawlessly. The case that comes with the headset contains a battery as well and will re-charge the B235 whenever it is stored, regardless whether it is plugged into an AC outlet or not. Very thoughtful design. The Plantronics Voyager is comfortable to wear so that you can almost forget that you are wearing it. Overall, an excellent product.

Both products are great, stand keeps Legend fully charged with easy access right on my desk. The case is perfect for recharging the headset (and keeping it safe) while on the road. Definitely glad to have these great products to use with my Voyager Legend!

It connects when it's supposed to, exceptional quality, and wonderful warranty support along with online support for bios updates. Just and overall great product. I have been using Bluetooth headsets for years and it has always been patently obvious to the person to whom I am speaking and me that I am wearing a headset. Fit has always been an issue and fit issues often leads to adjustments during a call, which causes noise discernable to the other party. This interrupts communication at both ends of the call. Voyager Legend gives me an entirely different scenario! First of all, the flexible design is comfortable and adjustable when you put it over your ear. This means that there is no need to make in-call adjustments, which disrupt both communicators. Secondly, I have to ask myself, "am I wearing a headset," because it just doesn't feel like I am! Third, I can ask the person to whom I am speaking, "am I wearing a headset"? The audio is so clear, natural and free from background noise that the response is usually, "I really can't tell, are you?" Plantronics has brought decades worth of audio and human factors experience to culmination in this headset, the Voyager Legend!

Unfortunately, I let my stepson try it, so it wrnt permanently from my house to his. I missed it so much, I bought another entire system. The battery life, standby and talk time are phenomenal. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very hard to reprovision I've had issues with Windows 10 pairing, and when I got a new phone there wasn't any easy way to unpair the old phone. Need a method to hard reset the device back to manufacturer. Called customer service and they didn't offer a lot of help.

This is my 4th Plantronics headset and it is the best yet. I especially like the carry/charging unit. So simple and it keeps me connected when traveling.

A day in its life started from being on my ear to listen to podcast when in the car to the airport, then charging it when passing security, then on calls when at the airline lounge, back in its case for charging, returning calls when I landed, listening to an ebook when driving to my client and there taking calls on Microsoft Lync. Hours of having in on my ear. Never a problem, never a missing beat. I lost it 2 weeks ago when I forgot my jacket. I am sad now. And since it was so good and such a part of my everyday, I know I will be buying a new one soon. It just fitted my lifestyle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ok headset WHEN IT WORKS First, when you walk away from your PC or phone and then return within range, the headset does not necessarily automatically reconnect, which is a pain. Also, I've found with the last 2-3 of this particular model, they last less than a year before the audio is unacceptable as in the person at the other end of the call cannot hear you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't live without it I've had one since they first came out and use it every day. If I forget this thing at home.. it's going to be a bad day. I'm a UC engineer and deploy Cisco UC systems for our customers so I'm always moving around (my desk travels with me in my bag) and in front of many different devices & apps. 1. Charging case. Fantastic. Charge it once a week and I always have a charged headset. Also protects my headset when it's rolling around in my bag and keeps track of the USB dongle. 2. USB Dongle - Built-in Bluetooth on my laptop has proven flakey across a number of Bluetooth devices. This USB dongle works every time, provides a consistent connection for great audio and works with every app. 3. Headset - Forget it's on my ear. It looks big, but is super comfortable. I've never had a complaint about audio quality, in fact, just the opposite. People say it sounds great and ask what I'm using so they can get one. Can't say enough good things about this headset and recommend it to all of my customers.

Afterwards, I acquired the USB dongle to use it with my PC and couldn't be happier. It pairs with the devices effortlessly, it works flawlessly every time I need it. The sound quality is great. I've just went to a business trip to a different country and used it full day with my MS Lync and Skype for internal and external conferences. It just worked without bothering me by having it on my ear the whole day. Definitely recommended.

I have Plantronics for my cells phones too, and going to upgrade to the latest any minute -I never write reviews - so...oh, and I always have at least 1-2 backups for my cell and work :)

It is everything that I've always thought a Bluetooth headset should be! This desktop charger stand just makes my headset even more perfect. The design is classy and stylish. It's like a little throne for my Voyager. AND it seemlessly and quickly chargers my headset so its always ready for use. Thr way the headset just "snaps" onto the charger is wonderful, no fusing around trying to plug in the cord. I recommend both the Voyager Legend and the desktop stand to everybody I know.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best blue-tooth I've ever owned.... Going on 2yrs now and for my wife 1yr. We're experiencing excellent service from this device. It's sturdy and the sound quality is excellent between us and our friends. Talk time is very sufficient we're talking close to an 8hr day at work. The charge time for these bad boys is like, we get a full 7hr charge in about 30 minutes. Can you believe that? I don't know exactly how this device could be upgraded (although I haven't tried the other series). But it seems most other reviews I've seen are from ppl who have this model. I think it's well worth the price and it's stylish too. This is in my opinion, a quality product compared to competitors (I can't mention bc of guide lines) I've been through the last 10 yrs. I'm staying with this model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Clearity and Volume I bought this about two years ago to use in my work. Everyday I pair it with a Motorola DP4801e every day for an 8 1/2 hour shift. The headset works great with the two way radio. I presents a clear volume loud enough to hear in very noisy conditions. The only draw back is the battery. I clock in about 2:30 in the afternoon and by 7:30 that evening the battery wants to be charged. I usually charge while I am eating dinner and it's good to go until the end of shift at 11:00 PM. I love this headset and would buy another. I have recommended it to several co-workers. I wish Plantronics could somehow increase the battery time even though it recharges in about 30 minutes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Talk Time Inaccurate, Inconvenient Charging This headset is employer-provided for Skype business communications. It constantly needs recharging. It will tell me 2 hours talk time, but if I don't charge it within 10 minutes, it shuts off. If I am not within 2 feet of the usb doggle, voices are garbled. It's only saving grace is that I didn't have to pay out of my own pocket for it. Have had several other Plantronics products and loved them, but I think this one missed the mark.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What's happening? What's happening? This little headset used to be a rockstar… Now I'm getting interference whenever I have it connected to more than one device. I find myself having to shut it off of one phone to carry on a conversation on another. I have upgraded it, check firmware, and still having the same issue. Another thing, there's now a 1 to 2 second delay when you press the microphone button on your phone and wait for the tone in your ear. Was not there in the veginning. Not sure what's driving the diminished performance but it's frustrating. I actually feel badly about the lower rating. I used to love this. Now I'm struggling to like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best bluetooth! I have had this Bluetooth over a year now. All of the features work as they say as far as answering and pausing music. I especially love that the on/off is a switch rather than a push in and hold button. It makes it easier to access the headset when you do not like to wear it all day and you receive a call. I also use the headset for Microsoft Lync calls, and the clarity is superior to anything I have ever had. My company purchases this brand for us, so I have had several of Plantronics different products. This is by FAR my favorite. It has lasted this long and I am kind of rough on the devices. they get thrown into the bottom of my purse, and left of the desk, etc. Its been the most rugged. The one thing I find is that the lithium battery is a little finicky. If you do not drain it completely once in a while, it will stop charging. I tend to let it drain all night, bc the recharge time is so small (like 20min for a full charge). This was a little tricky for me to figure out at first.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Connectivity issues It gets un-paired from the USB mini adapter and wont't get connected again to use it with my laptop, which is the primary device I need to connect to my Voyager Lengend. Tried the procedure to pair it again but it does not work consistently. It work directly with my iphone though, but cant't make it work again with my laptop through the BT adapter. It also gets disconnected for no reason when in the middle of a call in mi phone, then is gets back. Battery life is not the 7 hrs offered. Not sure if I got a defective device or it definitely is a bad quality product overall. Not used to find this results from a Plantronics device

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Voyager Legend is simply solid I have deployed the Plantronics Voyager Legend Bluetooth headset for dozens of mobile users across our company and have had stellar results with how well they work. We use them with various version of both Android and iPhone devices. Voice-command functionality works great, battery life is fantastic (6-7 hrs on a full charge) and they just seem to do the job without any hassle. Noise cancellation when used outdoors or when driving works very well also.

I now have a legend headset that I use with my cell phone. Not only is it great reliable equipment, but Plantronics gives great customer service!

The first one I purchased in April 2014 had to be replaced in Feb 2015 because it stopped working. Fortunately the warranty covered it. The warranty replacement just died a couple weeks ago. Ufortunately, the warranty had expired so I had to pay full retail. I love their quality I just wished they would last a little longer. In comparison, the Legend CS I bought in 2013 and a BackBeat 903 I bought in 2014 are both still going strong. Sadly, neither one willwork with the B235 adapter. Great audio - lousy life span.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best headsets I've ever owned This is the second Plantronics headset I've owned (previously a Voyager HD UC). I really like the UC features for use with Skype, MagicJack, andthe softphones at work. If that weren't enough the sound quality and most of all the noise cancelling are just the best. I have worked in noisy data center environments with these headsets and been able to hear and most important be heard through the background noise.

Case: 06324008 Subject: Sensor Question / Description: hi, i was told that my headset has wind sensor inbuilt , however i have lots of complains about my voice quality . would need some help in sorting this out. The most recent generation of headset, the Voyager Legend has been one of remarkable standing, like no other I have ever seen and trust me I have seen more than the average person. The Voyager Legend is what I would call a smart headset, as it talks to you, it gives you information the caller, calling you or texting you, it will also allow you to text via voice. The overall take on this headset is way way up there, compare to others on the market today.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great if not best Bluetooth headset! I just got my new Voyager Legend UC upgrading from the previous Voyager UC and LOVE it. The new charging technology is one of the best features because there is no fumbling around with mini-USB ports and cords. The way it "pops-in" to what I am going to call my desk "cradle" is so nice for my preference to either easily "rest" the headset and or quickly grab when I want to use it. Because one can easily use USB in the car too or airplanes, there should be no complaint to suggest that the "old way" of charging is better. I have not tried the case charging method but again see its advantages when traveling to keep in handy and charged stored in my laptop case or purse. Thanks for the continued great customer support and kudos for your innovation on this new model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unit Keeps Dying! Bought the Voyager Legend about 6-7 weeks and really have enjoyed wearing it. Fits so comfortable that you forget about it being there. Now, the downside. I I have returned one and am returning another. The main issue is the unit just quits working. Both units have just died and would not work until a reboot with a link provided by Plantronics. The unit would not turn on or off. I noticed that sometimes I could rub a finger over the microphone area  and could hear that sound through the earpiece but could not turn on or off the unit. I must say, customer support has been superb and they are sending another unit overnight to me. I hope the issue gets corrected because I have enjoyed wearing the blue tooth.

Both have performed exceptionally well. The only thing I would suggest is to provide the actual measurements of the ear tips on the product description. I don't know what size mine are and I need a new ear tip pack.

I am on the phone constantly for my job and at time for extended periods of time. Only critique is when I am in a call I don't get much warning when the battery is getting low before the headset shuts off. It has been very comfortable to wear. I do find that with the iPhone 6 it looses connection during conversations as I am driving around. My previous one never did that. With a Bluetooth adapter on my office phone, the included Plantronics dongle in my laptop and Bluetooth on my cellphones, I shift seamlessly from home to work to mobile and back again, with a single headset. The charge time is exceptional. It charges rapidly, lasts all day, and holds a charge for days if it's not in use. I was thrilled to find the cable adapter, desktop charger AND charging case in the package...I use one at home, one on my desk, and the case goes everywhere with me. I use, test and recommend technology for a living...and this is one of the best purchases I've ever made for myself. I highly recommend it. If I had one complaint, it's that there are minimal options for ear pieces. Small, Medium, Large, with or without fuzzy cover...none of the options fit me particularly well. I solved that by using one of the standard sizes as the base for a custom molding kit...but I would dearly love to see Plantronics offer a C-shape or a compressible/moldable plug for a more secure fit. If I'm going to wear it 18 hours a day...and I often do...I want it to be comfortable!

I would also like a little more volume; and, understand why it is not practical.I purchased this item recently. It does everything well. Maintains a charge for quite a long time, fits well to my ear and the sound quality is good. So far it seems to be very durable. I have not used this with my computer yet.

Too bad the things the Don't say about it are a deal breaker. Unfortunately it is Such a struggle to charge this premium priced product I am forced to shop for another solution. Why would anyone not place a simple, durable and reliable micro USB connector on here is bizarre. Instead someone dreams up a pie in the sky contraption, attaches it to a sales pitch and lets the consumer be the guinea pig at the cost of hundreds of dollars. Plantronics makes premium products and will likely purchase another plantronics product but this is a dud. Do not buy this you will end up with so much frustration that you will shop for another product like I am.

Now the USB is failing to pair to the headset. I've scoured blogs, online help files, etc for a solution, and all suggestions fail. I'm afraid I will need to purchase another USB as I see in help files I can pair a USB purchased later for use with headsets w/o USB - like ones purchased for phone only. So now I'm on the hunt for a USB that works with the Voyager Legend UC. I'm hoping that the USB issue I am having now is not a common one and that a new USB will be much more reliable.

Bought this headset mostly for driving hands free cellular use and pleasantly surprised that it works extremely well for listening to music or talk from tablet, computer or television. It is extremely comfortable and fit is perfect. Needed a behind the ear as in-ear kept popping out after a few minutes. "Truly hands-free." Features work as described with voice commands. Connection when turned on is instantaneous (maybe a 1 second) and you never miss a call. Caller ID works as described with voice commands. Battery life excellent and I charge once every few days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Sound but Awkward Charging I had used the Voyager Pro for years and loved it but lost the device and purchased this new Legend series. I do not like the charging as I had to purchase new charging leads for my car and motorcycle. The more common mini USB charging port is much more flexible and secure as the magnetic hold which is not secure and the device often falls of the charger.  For the first time, I had to update the firmware in the device too. The firmware was current but the device stopped working. I reinstalled the firmware and the device returned to service.  I like the old voyager much better as it was more hardier and used common charging ports.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product...if it didnt crash I bought this legend to replace my voyager pro, which lasted for 3 year's before the battery wouldn't hold its charge any longer. Ok, this is supposed to be a better product, which upgrades are supposed to be. My first one lasted exactly 1 month before it just died. it wouldn't connect to my phones, you couldn't hear the voice prompts when you turned it on. NOTHING!! Took it back to where I bought it, and they replaced it. It lasted 2 months, then the same thing happened. It's not a charging issue, cause I charged it all night long, and blue light was blinking. Took it back again, they replaced it again, and it lasted 2 months also,. I am now going back and hopefully they will allow me to replace it with a different brand. WHY DID THEY CHANGE FROM THE PRO????? And we wont even mention that awful magnetic charger they give you. Don't loose it, or your unit is USELESS !!!

I used other Plantronics headsets before but this one seems to be the one that has the best features and stays connected the best. I use this at home on my phone AND computer (Lync) all the time and never have had any complaints. The only reason I had to buy a new one this week was because i left my old one in my shorts and it went through the washer and dryer. I think this is the only way to kill one of these, as I take it on the road and constantly tossing this in my bag, my pocket or on my desk. Although the price may be a little more than other headsets, in this case you clearly "Get What You Pay For".

It won't pair with my PC's Bluetooth. Forced to use the dongle that came with it that won't work if plugged into a hub. The voice AI tries to pair with every command I say. All she wants to do is pair. I don't think that it understands me. It doesn't really fit into my ear. It kind of sits all wonky on the edge and sometimes will slip to a position that causes it to muffle. The sound quality for music is abysmal. The highs are almost non existent and all sound is muffled. When it is working the sound quality is superb for phone calls. That's the only reason it gets a star.

I am an happy possessor of a dell top-of-the-edge pc, that works fine. Therefore, I assume I can't change the language on my voyager legend just for a failure of the software made for this specific feature, Plantronics Hub, which I installed 3 different times and run many more, just to be sure. In the hub, with the headset connected, I change the Language and apply the new setting. Everything seems to work fine, and the feat comes to end with success. Then I unplug the headset and - is still in english. I will be very pleased to give 5 stars and a positive review about your product, if only I can do this minimal, but fundamental (for my father), feat. Thank you for the help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good headset, but... Because I was experiencing a lot of pain in my elbow, I decided to try a headset instead of holding my phone against my ear for hours. What I got was great reception, clear vocals and long battery life. What I also got was a pain in my ear. I guess I'm one of those people whose ears aren't shaped for bluetooth headsets. My ear would actually ache after about an hour or so. I'd have to take it out and let my ear rest.

I use my charger in my bedroom and it lit up the room. I have since put it in a box so I can be charging my headset, but the light doesn't disturb my sleep. I keep the charger itself unplugged when I'm not using it.

As a taxi company owner and dispatcher I receive a ton of calls. The Legend stands up to it. Long battery life. Unstopped by rain and snow. The noise reduction filters help a lot as I am often outside, or driving with the windows down, or have loud customers in the car. Just have to remember it is best to take it off if working under a car. It has even kept me from loosing my phone a number of times by alerting me that it was out of range. After all these years the product is still on the market...I can get updates and new ear bud covers.

Not only is it better, but MUCH better...Lighter - softer ear gels - great battery time - fantastic noise cancelling of background sounds - and now - the ability to answer my cell - computer calls and sounds - and it sits in it's own tiny desk cradle, recharging in absolute comfort. I am literally wearing this baby 10-12 hours per day, AND CAN'T FEEL IT!!! The Voyager I have now is awesome! I love the convenience of this product - I am a multi-tasker and need my hands free. I do wish it came in a smaller version as I do have trouble keeping it in my ear.

We started testing various wireless headsets for use in our office environment about a month ago and the Voyager Legend UC has come out on top every time. The requirement was for a headset that could easily be charged at your desk and charged off site for staff who travel a lot and the great desktop charging dock and charging case tick both boxes. Added to this was the exceptional quality of voice calls and the ease of use, it was a hands down winner in my testing and is now the recommended wireless headset for our staff

My favorite way to use the product is to use it as a navigation tool in rental cars. I use my phone to give directions rather than using a speaker cable or BT connection to the car. My only quibble is the issue with updates and battery life. The headset will start to act poorly and send a battery low notification. This is remedied by going to the website and updating the firmware. I have two of these headsets and both seem to need a helping hand ever few months. Other folks I work with have the same issue. No big deal but can be annoying when you want the headset to work at critical times , etc.

But, it has a few issues when link with a computer. It will cause static noise if multiple bluetooth device is connected to your laptop. It will occasionally drop from laptop (with or without dongle). Last, it has an echo effect when using with laptop. Last, the quality of the product can be stronger. Mine headset, the earpiece area has break and pop open (so the battery and wires fall out). I am not sure whether it's because i left mine in the car (with excessive heat) or it's because I accidently drop books on it (could be both). [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Calls will automatically switch from the headset to your phone mid-way thru conversation. You can manually put it back but then it keeps happening. You can turn off the auto-sensing feature if you have a PC...software does not work on a Mac. Seriously...there is a technology product these days that does not work with Apple? I had to return this and go with another headset.

My greatest challenge was the individual's I speak. They would ask me to repeat myself because of the noise around me. Since I have owned the legend uc, it does not matter if I am taking my dog for a walk, driving in my car or working on my computer the recipient can hear me loud and clear. As it goes for how people sound on my end is absolutely awesome. Clear and crisp phone conversations all around now. I LOVE the connection for my computer when I have my weekly Go-To-Meeting conference calls. My wife would call me a blue tooth junky because I was constantly purchasing Bluetooth ear pieces because I could not find one that was comfortable, clear and crisp sounding until I tried the Plantronics Legend. Thank you Plantronics for creating the number one (#1) Bluetooth ear piece in the market.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bluetooth, poor charging system I am currently on my 2nd voyager. My first was used everyday for roughly 2 years. The only reason I bought another one was the battery was beginning to go bad and it would barely hold a charge for 1 day. In the beginning I could use it for several days without charging, but in the end it was daily and if I forgot to charge it over night it would not last the day. Sound quality is great, the other end of the phone hears you just fine. It is comfortable to wear all day, there were sometimes it would make my inner ear sore, but I think that was more my fault than anything else. Usually I left it kind of loose in my ear and when a call came in I would reposition it for better sound quality. The biggest problem with this item and the only reason it didn't get 5 stars was because of the chargers. The chargers are specific and if the connection is not right it will not charge. I have never liked the charging system, it would be so much better if it was just a micro usb port, but the sound and battery life is good enough for me to ignore the problematic charging system. This is the best blue tooth device that I have ever used.

The first couple of months it worked get but now most of the time I don’t know if it’s on or not because it won’t say on and how many hours are left on the headset! I am beyond frustrated! I get tired of family saying they can’t hear me all they hear is staticky noise! Wish I had my receipt I would take it back. My husband seems to think I just got a bad one because he has 3 or 4 of them and have never had a problem!

Online shops tended to be expensive. Used it in a tool truck great for privacy, good noise reduction and long battery life. Then it just died and I was lost without it! I bought another and while setting preferences with Plantronics My Head set updater I updated the firmware to the newest version. Then I updated the old defunct head set and hey presto it came back to life and functioned better than ever before. Now its paired with my laptop for Skype and I now just hate a desk phone more than ever before because of the handset. Moral of the story keep firmware up to date.........you wouldn't read last years newspaper would you?

My legend connects very quickly and easily to the stand (unlike the portable charger). I actually use it on my nightstand instead of at work because I am not at a desk. I wish I had known about the bundle deal before I bought my Legend. Consequently,  I had to buy each accessory separately. Notwithstanding,  I am very pleased with this item.

By the time I had the money, the Voyager Legend UC came out. Best of both worlds with the extremely-comfortable earpiece with connectivity to both my computer and my phone. I have small ears and have a hard time getting a BT earpiece to stay in. With the removable cloth eartip covers and the solid ear-hook, I've never had a problem with the Legend UC coming out. The sound is amazing, I use it for handsfree when driving and no one has ever commented negatively on the quality of my voice and call. The charging case is very handy, I can forget about charging my Legend UC for a month! The desktop stand is very nice, though I've yet to use it heavily. I love the features, while you're driving you don't have to look at your phone as it will announce the caller and allow you to answer or ignore the call by simply giving it a voice command. You can use it all day long without worrying about it dying. It has several different ways to charge so that it is very easy and convenient. It is very clear to hear and callers to hear and understand you unlike some other bluetooth devices that it is hard to hear the caller or the other way around. I am very pleased with this product!

Its comfortable, the call quality is great, it is easy to use, and I like the fact that it can be updated. I have it connected to my phone at work via Bluetooth, my cell phone via Bluetooth, and my computer via the BT adapter that came with the headset. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I often have to repeat myself when trying to make a call hands free. English is my first language so I know it doesn't have to do with pronunciation. Besides the fact I have to repeat myself a lot, the product is great and i recommend it to those looking for hands free mobility.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb upgrade to Voyager Pro UC I previously had a Voyager Pro UC and the Voyager Legend UC is a great upgrade. The form factor is vastly improved, especially the slim mic boom. The controls are more intuitive for power and volume. My favorite new feature is that the headset announces who is calling and lets you answer by saying "answer". A close runner up is the new carrying case that also charges the device. I'm on conference calls half of the day and love using this in my car, at home, and in the office with iMeet. I like being able to access Siri by clicking on the headset button (I make calls with my phone being in a different room in my house). You'll need to get used to a new charger versus micro-USB, its one advantage is a nice magnetic function similar to a Macbook. Overall, highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Malfunction My agency bought the Voyager Legend to go with our new desk phones about year ago. Loved the setting. It was light weight and their was no cords to hassle with. After about a month I would walk away from my office and come back after 5-10 minutes do to a meeting or something and their would be several missed calls. My wireless ear set never rang or beeped. I notified our IT Bureau of the issue and they replaced it with a new one (some type an style). Within another month the same thing happened to the new one. I made sure that their was no updates or anything that I needed to do (their was nothing). So, once again I notified my IT Bureau and they said they had no clue what the issue was. I asked several others that walk away from their desks if they was having the same issue and they was. Just to be clear I am still in range for my phone to pick up.

I find my self in noisy environments like machine rooms and the maximum volume is still a it low for me, I wish there was a bit more volume on the ear bud.

The Bluetooth USB adapter is an excellent replacement for the wired headset provided by my company. I can wear the unit all day long paired to my computer with the dongle. If my cellphone rings I can answer it without having to pair it again. The battery will last a good Five hours on conference calls and charges quickly. I have recommended the Legend to many of my colleagues since I stated using it.

I have owned both the pro-plantronics and the PLT_Legend. I feel like I got lucky twice because the last one I owned had a serious connectivity problem while hosting phone calls with samsong phones. It would randomly "connect/disconnect for no reason. From what I've read in these reviews, the issue seems to relate Plantronics devices having compatibility issues with other devices. Sadly, because I love the style and overall design of these Plantronics devices, I will soon purchase another one and it will last until the housing/casing deteriorates. This Voyager Legend UC is the one I will buy.

It tends to be fragile and breaks between the battery and the ear/mouth piece right above the ear. If it weren't for the features of the product I would quit buying one a year. That is all the longer they last. Long enough to get over a year. I am on my third voyager anticipating the purchase of a replacement anytime.

The connection quality and battery life is just outstanding. Works with my iPhone 6 no problems at all. I love this product. I believe it's the best Bluetooth you can buy on the market period.

It connect with my phone from the other side of the house, and I have yet to have any issues at all (been using for a few months now). But one of the greatest benefits is the charging case, which not only protects the earpiece, but almost always insures it is fully charged for 7 hours of talk time. I love this thing.

It is comfortable to use when I am driving to and from my current home and my home town and is easy to use on long road trips. All I have to do is turn it on and it pairs instantly with my phone. I love this headset and would not hesitate to buy this same one over and over again when it needs to be replaced. I have gone through several different brands and styles of headphones and none of them even come close to this.

I am finding that it is very useful and user friendly. One days charge lasts a complete day. I do not use it for playing music and the like, and seven hours of actual use is plenty for me. It was one of the more expensive units but seems to worth the money, and with all the driving I do, having hands free to answer the phone is great.

I've heard great things about the Voyager Legend, I love the features it had, but when I first looked at it in the box, I thought, "This thing is HUGE!!" Then I realized that it wasn't that much different than the last desk phone headset I used.., and I didn't have problems with that. So, I went with it. In fact, my fiance and I both gone one. This headset may look clunky, but when I put it on, it was solid enough that I knew it was there, but light enough that I don't have issues with it, and I have the kind of girly ears that normally HATE in-ear devices. The sound quality on my end is great. I got this because my last Plantronic bluetooth headset wasn't happy with the Galaxy Note 3. I went from staticy calls to crystal clear. On the other end, I'm told the calls are also crystal clear. No static or echoes. In fact, the best thing I can say about this headset is that my Dad didn't ask me to switch back to the phone when talking to him. It's supposed to be sweatproof and generally well protected against water. I'll just keep my fingers crossed that I'll never learn if it is. ;) The one thing, and I mean the ONLY thing that I can say against this headset is that it has a proprietary charger and the cable is really short. However, there's a $30 charging case. The case will charge the headset twice for an extra 14 hours talk time on one charge of the case. All in all, great headset (which actually, I was using while typing this review!). Not only would I choose this again if I had to, but I'll be ordering the Legend CS with the lifter to test for use on our Mitel IP phones at work.

I found it was hard to run cable or do punch downs with one hand available, especially because my arm would become tired after a few hours. Needless to say, I'm very impressed. The sound is crisp and clear, set up is easy and the battery life is above average. I don't have much experience with bluetooth headsets, but the one's I have used were nearly the exact opposite of this. It also works with my Playstation!

But what a PITA it was to fetch all of that. Plantronics Control Panel helps. I also installed the battery meter into the system tray. After updating the firmware, and getting everything installed, it would then connect to both the desktop AND bluetooth equiped deskphone (Yealink T48G) simultaneously.

Fits neatly over the ear and there are accessories for the desktop, so it can sit in a charger when not in use. There is a carry case that houses the bluetooth dongle that also serves as a charger for the headset whilst it's in the case meaning that there is more than sufficient charge available for you to use all day long. The Voyager pairs with multiple devices and has intelligence built in so that if I take a call from my mobile phone on the Voyager headset, it can change the presence status of my Lync client to show that I am in a call - pretty neat. Also this intelligence serves to automatically answer a call when i pick the headset up as a response to an incoming call - the device assumes I am answering the call and as I site the headset on my ear, the call is answered for me. Mine goes with me everywhere - a great solution

Plenty of talk time and although it looks a little big it is very comfortable for extended use. it comes with several different earbud sizes and the swivel is nice to keep the mic from brushing against your face. Had the first one for a few weeks and bought two more to scatter throughout my life (Work, Home, Laptop case)since they are so Nice!

I regularly use it to listen to my computer audio and for both phones in my office. My only complaint is battery life when listening to computer audio is not great (about 2 to 3 hours). I put it back in the charging cradle at lunch and then have it for most of the afternoon. If I use it only for calls the battery is more than sufficient to cover an entire day or more.

Connectivity is pretty strong at average distance (I've tested up to 5 meters while walking around talking). I was surprised at the connectivity being wireless as most other units only go about 2 meters before you get the drop out/lag. If you hate the large piece behind your ear, try to deal with it if you like not charging often as that is the battery.

Only beef is that the foam cover earpiece comes off too easy (fixed with glue), and it's not loud enough for these damaged ears. But that's not a fault of the device!

I took this on a trip to Brazil and it was invaluable (able to keep in touch and still work at the same time!). I wear eyeglasses so I thought that might be an issue, but this thing is so comfortable, I often forget I even have it on. I really like the professional style, no crazy lights or ornaments, looks like a business-class item that I'm not afraid to wear during the work day or in meetings. Highly recommend for anyone looking for one of these!

Voice and sound quality are excellent. Connectivity is easy - switches between PC, Phone, tablet without issues. The range seems consistent with other Bluetooth devices. Also - the charging accessories are well designed with multiple options included with the headset. I particularly like the magnetic connections and the carrying case that also functions as a portable charger. While I don't make or receive that many calls, I've really been enjoying listening to streaming audio while working. Thanks Plantronics!

It allows me to have both connected simultaneously and switches seemliness. If I get a personal call and put the headset on it automatically answers that phone, and vice versa for my work phone. Has great battery life and I really like the voice control features. It will tell you who is calling then give you the option to answer or ignore. Can't go wrong with this headset!

My calls sound so much more professional with all the background noise cut out. The fact that it tells you how many hours are left on the charge and that the case charges it makes it a perfect fit for techs that travel and never know how long you're going to be on site.

The pairing was simple. The controls are well placed and easy to use. The addition of the Plantronics app added additional functionality I found convenient but not a necessity.

It feels like a finished product. The voice recognition features and integration to mobile apps make this a really professional headset. Also, it plays music. From your phone. Yes! I only wish there was a helmet version for my motorcycle riding.

Positive on/off switch prevents unwanted call 'hijacking' experienced by other Bluetooth devices when charging or in pocket. Works well with pc running Skype although no voice commands (not "UC" version). Prioritizes connection between iPad and iPhone reasonably well and makes iPad a great Skype phone and backup to primary phone. So well balanced and comfortable I forget I'm wearing it. Seems to be state of the art in class, and only beat in high noise environments by bulkier full headset - boom mike unit (where Blue Parrot excels). If I lose it, I will replace it immediately. Availabliltiy has been limited locally ... online or truckstops, but slow to hit shelves in mainstream retail outlets around here.

I constantly need to adjust it and it hurts if it stays on too long. Jt is just too big. Changed the ear pieces out several times with no difference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unreliable When it works it is great. Unfortunately I have nearly constant issues with mine. I have had a few replacements over the last 4 years as they simply stopped working. When sitting at my workstation the current one, at times and without warning, will say through the headset "pc disconnected" then a few seconds later say "pc connected" and few seconds later will repeat the disconnect / connect cycle. It will go on doing this repeatedly until I am ready to throw the thing out of the window. Some days it is ok and other days it is not.
