It’s very manly...hahahahaha!!!! I love OTTERBOX Defender Black. Awesome buy. Great looks. OTTERBOX gives skinny phone a bigger more many feel. Hahahaha!!!! Great protection for an expensive phone. Remember.... Manly men use OTTERBOX.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I love that OtterBox sells other assessor he's so that I can buy just the shell and not the whole case. It saves me money and I can do different options for my phone. I am running with the camouflage OtterBox case but it came with a orange shell and eventually broke so I went ahead and bought this black And the black one looks so much better. Hopefully one day OtterBox will come out with a camouflage shell. Preferably a duck camouflage

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great case... So, this case definitely delivers protection for my iPhone when I drop it, and Iove that feature. It is a little hard to access the side buttons, and the built-in screen protector is a great idea but needs work on design (it doesn't lie entirely flat against the screen, and I may end up cutting it out to install a standard glass screen protector that works better, because I have to repeatedly hit the screen where ever the screen protector doesn't fit snug against the screen). I'd buy it again; it offers the protection I want, but it could use a few design improvements.

I have only used Defender cases and so far my phones have always stayed safe. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because my phone slide around a bit in this shell. My old shell had a tighter fit.

I wanted the soft blue color and got one that looked more teal than blue. I returned the case almost two weeks ago and i’m still waiting for a credit to my PayPal account.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wouldn't have an iPhone without it! Previously, I had the Defender Shell/Slip Cover/Holster with my iPhone 6. So, when I upgraded to the iPhone 7, I had to have the same Defender Case. The rubber Slip Cover and Holster (both sold separately) have saved my iPhones from damage, more times than I can count. In addition, there's no need to purchase an expensive screen cover because the Plastic Shell (case) incorporates one in its design. Though it's not waterproof, I clip my iPhone to my motorcycle (while riding) and the Defender Shell (and rubber Slip Cover) do a great job at protecting my iPhone from the elements. Bottom line: I wouldn't own an iPhone without the Defender Plastic Shell, Slip Cover, and Swivel Holster to protect it.

Their customer service is great, the warranties are awesome. I'd say wholeheartedly Otterbox truly cares about their customers.

This is from the only company I know of that offers a solution for high drops. The design is functional and simple; a professional-looking working-case. My Otterbox is the only case I trust. And I trust it because I've dropped more than my share of phones due to carelessness. Otterbox has come through every single time. Lifelong loyal fan.

I think the otterbox website should point out that there will be no packaging such as you would see if you were buying from a retailer. No guarantee materials either, altogether it looked like trash

I am often using the gps on my iphone out on the trail and can't count the number of times I have dropped and watched my phone bounce down an incline or fall from one rock formation to another, just adding another element of challenge to the outing. My phone remains unscathed and my case intact. The only reason I replace it is because of the normal wear and tear scuffs on the protective screen cover. I BUY NO OTHER CASE! This sturdy and reliable defender is the one for me.

Not sure I like waking up to an alarm and trying to hit the snooze button but can't even hit a side button

The first one gave its existence to save my phone when I forgot I left it on the roof of my car and it flew off going 60 mph and hit the asphalt. The otter box cracked a bit but otherwise the phone was completely unharmed! I was amazed and now will only trust otterbox !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best protection I'm on my fourth defender case , not because there is anything wrong with them, because they're all i trust with my iPhone's. every time i've upgraded my iPhone i've put them in an otterbox defender. from my days as a carpenter these cases put up with a lot of abuse from drops off a roof to case and holder getting snagged on something and getting ripped from my belt ,nailpouch and suspenders. they've put up with al my abuse and thats why its the only phone protector I'll ever buy.
