Working with government and commercial customers, Oracle designed a secure, flexible solution to meet the security demands of financial, healthcare and other industries. Built on the Oracle Virtual Private Database technology, Oracle Label Security adds a special tag (label) to data rows enabling sophisticated and flexible row-level database security. For example, in application hosting, a subscriber label can be used to separate data between companies. Oracle Label Security can be configured to achieve the right balance to share and separate data. Oracle Label Security is based on government data classification requirements.
