Worked right out of the box
It worked flawlessly. Before using the Powerline I had about one or two bars reception. After plugging in the Powerline I had 5 bars immediately, no dropped lines. I felt like I was plugged directly into my router. The unit does become "warm" when plugged in, but after a month of use I have not experienced any negative effect.

Not what I needed it for.
I bought this in hopes of getting wifi to my metal out building, no such luck, it just doesn't connect at all, I use only Netgear products, this one didn't do the job I needed it to do,so if you are looking to add wifi to an out building I suggest using another method.

Fixes the hard problems
Wife's grandpa built the house, and decided if 1 nail does the job, 20 will do better. He basically built a faraday cage.
Visiting the inlaws, I could get Internet if I bounced off outside the house. They constantly complained about "The internet is slow."
I Bought 3 sets of these for them, told them where to locate them, and life is good.
Sometimes you need to "think outside the box" - In this specific case, Mesh WiFi would not have fixed the problem. This was an effective solution.

The technology works BUT no help is no help
The devices work but I have never been able to login to the routers to change the password to conform to my network. Even accessing via ethernet cable I get the same error code and there is noooo one to talk to. I am in an awful way!

Kinda works
I bought this to add some more range to our upstairs bedroom. The powerline feature worked well enough, but the wifi extension did not. It would not allow me to access setup to change the wifi name/password at all. I had hoped that I could add this to my existing Netgear wifi setup, but no luck. The wifi did work, but only on the default setting and I could not get in to add to my existing network.
