Rated 5 out of 5 by from I want to like it! And I still recommend it... I love how thin it is and that it doesn't snag on my gear since it's permanent. But its sleekness makes for an unsure attachment to the dock of choice; maybe I am using it wrong? Mine has fallen off prior to my locking it in an many occasions; once locked all is great! I use it in the car. As for my daily hikes...I wouuld not be comfortable attaching my $1000+ phone to the back of my pack blindly like the guy in the video. With it in front of me, I can mess with it a little to ensure that its connected and then lock it in. Also my phone, is big and I rather not have stuff hanging off of me while hiking (or anywhere for that matter nor do I go techy while I hike. My phone is for an emergencies not to call and text while hiking so quick access isn't an issue. I'd still recommend it for certain uses that would compromise an accidental drop, like the floor of my car, vs. 10 miles into the wilderness; yikes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adhesive pad The adhesive pad is not as good quality as I had previously. It fell off several times with my phone crashing down. I used 70% alcohol to clean the case and reactivate the adhesive, which so far has a good result.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well used by busy farmer I bought the adapter + belt clip for my dad, a busy dairy farmer who takes a lot of cell phone calls! He's using it which is probably the biggest rating it can get, although it's only been a couple of weeks. I wonder if the clip will need to be cleaned frequently as I can see dirt building up there. The adapter is very easy to attach to the clip and holds very well even without flicking the latch. The belt clip is quite stiff to open and close but it will hold well. It wasn't clear on the shop page that the clip actually came with an adapter included, so I bought it separately when I didn't need to :/

I have had every iPhone, 4, 5 & now 6s Plus and the only way to fly is in the protection of LifeProof cases. It is truly amazing the abuse (accidental of course) that those cases will endure. The accessories also are wonderful. My bicycle mount, husbands belt clip mount, amazing equipment and highly recommended!

The quick mount system is great and works well in the car and on the arm band. No complaints there. Should have been a 5 star if it hadn’t been for the agonisingly slow delivery. Sort that out and you’ve nailed it!

Not only that, but it doesn't adhere to apples silicone case, nor to the 5s life proof fre case. I ended up having to stick it right onto the iPhones back. In the car I had to use one of those double sided sticky tapes due to it not adhering properly to most surfaces. After installation issues were solved, it works great and the ease of use is amazing.

I've used the suction cup mount in my car and the handlebar mount on both my bicycle and motorcycle. I recently updated to the iPhone X and unfortunately the adapter does not allow the wireless charging to work properly.

I have also dropped it in water, and again it's still good! The only thing negative about the lifeproof case is it makes it a bit hard for me to hear the phone on speaker! I buy them for all of my family members!

I buy the case because I need it but completely wouldn’t if there was another option out there with better colour choices. My phone at the moment looks like a radioactive smurf. Can you please bring out some normal more muted colours or a simple plain black.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quickmount Adaptor I bought a new adaptor to apply to the metal skin of my iphone 7 plus (space gray and the adhesive was not strong enough to endure the bounce of running when placed in a lifeproof armband. I ended up removing the adhesive and applying my own 3M mounting tape (which is slightly thicker). I used the quickmount adaptor on the metal skin of my old iphone 6 plus with no issues for over about a year and a half.

My Samsung S6 with LifeProof case allows for wireless charging but once you add the quick mount adapter that functionality goes away as the phone will not sit flat on the charging pad. So choose whether you want to wireless charge or mount your phone because you can't do both.

The bad: I have my newest case on my iPhone 8 and I find the screen on my Fre is not as delicate as before. Towards the center is works very well, towards the edges where is meets the rest of the case sometimes I have to touch it multiple times, annoying, especially when texting. The good: The stronger screen is not scratching. I am really hard on phones. The Fre case totally protected my iPhone 6 for years. YThey are thin enough to easily fit an and out of my pockets, They look as good as a case can, and lastly and most importantly, I drop my phone all the time. From just a couple of feet to dropping it off a roof. I have dropped my 6 into my engine belts on my car while it was running and I was doing work on it. The case was dinged up, the phone was fine. Dropped into a pond. Got soaked recovering it. Phone was bone dry. An expensive case but completely worth it to save your ridiculously priced phone. I can mount it on my windshield of my motorcycle or car and it stays there and I run 20 mile runs w/ the clip holding the phone on my shorts. Never has come off or felt unstable. I completely trust their products. If that screen worked as well as the old one It would b a 6 star rating but it does get annoying having to retap. But buy a Lifeprrof case. You will be happy you did.

It is way less cumbersome to take my phone on and off my arm band to manage my running app or music. The only thing that isn't my favorite is that I have this permanent mount on my phone at all times--once running season is in full swing like now, I never take my life proof case off so I can maintain the integrity of the case instead of taking the case on and off all of the time.

The only gripe I have is it is difficult to tell if you are putting the bracket into the mount straight. My girlfriend and I fumbled around for over a minute trying to connect her phone to the mount on her windshield. Later the same day, it took her a 1-3 minutes to connect it to the adapter. Once connected, it held strong.

My headphones now work perfect with the quickmount. The only downside to the quickmount is it does stick out a little farther than my old case. I would definitely recommend this case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Regular use for about a year I have an iPhone 6S Plus with the Fre Power case and I haven't had any problems at all with the LifeActiv QuickMount Adapter. I use it along with the Suction Car Mount and at first I was worried it wouldn't work well since the phone and case weigh quite a bit but not once in about a year of use has the phone detached from the mount or the mount detached from the windshield of my car. The twist and go feature saves so much time getting in and out of the car. One piece of advice, however, is make sure you are precise when applying the adapter to your case because the adhesive is so strong that I'm not sure I could remove it if I wanted to (but that's sort of the point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fail Really disappointed. I tested my case before taking it out. No problems. Then I took it out with me for a training session on my outrigger canoe. After only very brief and limited exposure to water in my footwell, the screen showed fogging. I wasn't too worried until after my second trip on the outrigger with the case. I flipped (huli'd my canoe about four times. My phone was in my pocket and was never more than 3' below the surface. When I got back to shore I could see water had made it into the case. Good thing my phone is resistant to water up to 6' because my Lifeproof case wasn't. I will be returning it.

There isn't a lot, but it's just enough to get the mount on slightly askew. Then I have to adjust the QuickMount when I switch from one device to another. Other than that I love it. Quick on, quick off and very secure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great idea, but could have been better Great idea. Problem is not so easy putting adapter on back. I mean seems simple but requires a lot of prep and setup. Scares me to have my $800 phone hanging by a 3m adhesive. Why would you not make a snap in adapter on the cases to begin with. I get the simplification if there belt clip, car mount, bike mount etc because now they make one that will work with every case they make. This type of mount leaves the screen exposed. On the iphone 6+ They only have the nuud case ( so far ) which has no screen protector other than the little peel and stick. Would feel much better with the old style Belt clips that allowed for either screen in or out. Buttons get pushed, ive deleted apps, as well as sent weird texts and phone calls because of the out board screen. The clip is hard to get into, small hole, small insert to go into small hole and its square. So you have to be just right. Round would have been better. Then the turn the unit to release is awkward and i have dropped my precious several times removing and inserting in the clip in the last 2 weeks of use. Car mount is great! Belt no bueno! Bike mount scares me. Relying on one little piece of sticky tape to hold under some extreme pressure. I think its a great start but i miss the iphone 5s fre case and clip. That was the Best case and clip ever made! I know i owned several cases in lots of colors and bought 5 car mounts and bike mounts Because it i trusted.

As long as I remember to move the lock lever into lock position my phone will never move until I release it. I've never had a problem with the quick mount. I can mount to the windshield and on my bicycle handle bars. Mostly it just hangs onto my belt. I love the quick mount adapter plus an assortment of it's accessories.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn't work for all case types I bought this because I wanted to continue to use the LifeProof accessories even though I don't have a LifeProof case. It wasn't until the adaptor wouldn't stay on the case that I read on the back of the package that the adaptor will not work with certain materials, such as rubber. That would have helpful to know before purchasing a $20 adapter.

Use there cases for my phone an tablet as I work on the construction industry an love there robustness an protection. 2nd case this year, quality beginning to slack an the adaptor for the belt clip didn’t even last 24hrs, greatful the case was waterproof as it could have been worse. Will shop around when my upgrade is due.
