Two complaints are they don’t offer the all black case anymore and the “new” attachment system. Didn’t like it to begin with, hate it even more now that I have to purchase the mount every time I get a new case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FRE for Iphone 7 Plus I brought the FRE for Iphone 7 Plus as I did for my previous Iphones. The product is EXCELLENT. But this time the Belt clip adhesive pad has an issu. I contacted Lifeproof regarding it and it is being replaced. The Customer Service is EXCELLENT. I do recommend that you get Priority shipping because regular shipping is very slow. Overall product, customer service is EXCELLENT!!

The protection for my phone is awesome, but I have to use a Bluetooth headset with this case for anyone to be able to hear/understand me when using my phone in this case. They can hear/understand just fine without the case, but not with it on :(

So, the home ‘button’ has a clear thin plastic layer on top and it feels like that the part that’s going to rip first. It doesn’t feel really solid and doesn’t look really neat as well. Second of all, the chargerport works well, but also feels like it’s not going to last forever. I dislike the mute/unmute button idea, because the function gets switched. When you push the button down, the phone gets unmuted. Push it up, the phone mutes. However, the general design of the case feels really solid. I didn’t drop it yet, luckily, but the case is quite slim and doesn’t make the phone too big. I got quite tiny hands, so it surprises me that I can hold it with one hand. Although, there are some aspects of the case I don’t really like, it still feels really solid and the case does its job.

I won't wait at all next time. My last case last 2 years and was great as I could use the cell GPS on my motorcycle in all kinds of weather.

I wouldn’t buy a phone without putting a lifeproof case on it though, it has saved my phones in the past more times then I can count and the customer service is amazing. Something on the case breaks you just email them, pay a few bucks for shipping and they send you a new one. After two years my old Samsung is in mint condition while all my friends phones are smashed up. Worth every penny.

Only reason I haven’t it a 4 was because of how extremely difficult it was to get this case apart in the beginning I was trying every little thing I had around my house! Once it was open it was fine!

Very disappointed could you image if I was riding my motorcycle far and my phone dropped off. No good lifeproof. Great product but stronger 3M tape needed. GoPro adhesive tape outstanding compare to your tape.

I was happy til I opened the packing and found a fre case for just a iPhone 8 not the iPhone 8+ I got home late and could not get ahold of anyone if I was you I’d not post this for I will give you a good review when I get the right case

But one issues I have is that I pretty much have to buy the lifeproof car mount all over again every time I get a new case. The little clip that glues onto the back of the case costs $15 to replace when the whole mount costs $30-$40.

In fact, this is the 6th or 7th Lifeproof case I have purchased for my iPhone(s in the past few years. The only issue that I have run into is that the bottom end of the case (near the charging port) doesn't seem to have "clicked" or locked together fully. Therefore, I have to squeeze the two pieces together when opening the "charging door" to plug & unplug my phone cord. Additionally, I have already noticed that a fair amount of dust/lint/dirt has begun to find its way underneath the screen cover, decreasing the display quality. That being said, I have experienced the dust issue on every Lifeproof case I have owned and feel that it may be the trade-off for the superior protection I require in my line of work. Hopefully, the phone will work its way into the case, allowing me to completely close/lock the seal around the bottom of the phone. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have and will continue to be a loyal Lifeproof customer however would love to hear if anyone else has experienced these issues? The only solution that I have come up with over the past 4-5 cases is to just purchase a new case & start fresh... any help or ideas would be much appreciated! Thanks!

However, my travels will take me to rocky areas and I decided to purchase one and I have to say I’m not disappointed at all. I love my case and haven’t had to push hard to get to the buttons. The case is light and aesthetically appealing. I bought one for me and for my daughter and she loves hers as well. Thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lifetime FRE LIFEPROOF customer! I have been a FRE LIFEPROOF customer as long as I have been an iPhone customer, over 10 years. Between two toddlers and volunteering with a search and rescue group, my phones take some serious abuse. I have sooo many stories - thanks to my case, my phones have survived many conditions and situations that they should not have. The buttons and toggles on this one are definitely a little more stiff than I’m used to, but I figure that will wear in with time. If not, it’s a small price to pay to protect such an expensive piece of equipment. I swear by my FRE LIFEPROOF cases. I usually have to replace the case every two years or so, but I’ve never had to replace my phone.

Having owned Lifeproof cases previously I knew the build quality to expect and this one hasn’t disappointed. The screen has remained available at all times, no loss of audio that I have noticed and picture quality remains high while FaceTiming my family. Whould I buy another? YES. Would I recommend the case to others? I ALREADY HAVE. The price tag is a little high but considering it’s a 10th the cost of the phone, I’d rather be replacing the case should I put it in and harms-way and not the phone!

When I received, I did the water prof test and had no problems. But when I placed the case on my phone I noticed that the bottom left side appeared to not close completely. I have taken it apart to ensure the rubber gasket was properly place, it was and still have the problem. Sent an email to Lifeproof customer service and have gotten no response after more than a week. I even offered to send photos if needed. I certainly don’t trust this case to do why I purchased it for. Keep my phone dust and water free.

It’s difficult to adjust volume, turn my phone in silent, open the charger port without hurting my fingers. It doesn’t feel nice and it’s loud when it hits a surface. Poor design all around. I’m not happy with my new case. I probably won’t be getting another life proof case unless there are serious improvements. Also the charger port should click back so that it’s not just hanging when you’re using it.

When I purchased my new 8 plus I started looking for cases immediately and lifeproof is always one of my top choices. We had our first snow yesterday I laid my phone on my truck bed while shoveling snow and forgot all about it for about 30-40 minutes. Began looking for my phone and remembered where I'd laid it and of course everything worked fine and completely dry inside.

The Silence switch has been an issue on every LifeProof case I've had. NOthing is more frustrating than to miss critical phone calls due to phone silencing itself in my pocket. Have used LifeProof Fre cases since iPhone 5 thru SE. The switch problem has been an issue from the beginning. LifeProof has been wonderful to stand behind the products and have a good warranty. I don't ever want to be without a protective case for my phone so I purchased another Fre` for iPHONE 8 directly from LifeProof before the holidays. I have not used it yet; I will be checking it for water tightness seal soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seriously water/damage proof I am absolutely in LOVE with Lifeproof. I am a behaviorist and work with the developmentally disabled. I just upgraded my phone but had Lifeproof on my old iPhone. Two times, my clients tried to flush my old phone down the toilet. Three times they threw it with all their might across the room (I'm talking, in one instance, a 300 lb individual that was very angry because he was told NO). I'm talking over two years of very intense abuse for my phone, dropping it, bodily fluids, being stepped on, drinks spilled on it, slobbery hands playing games on both the phone and iPad. When I took my old iPhone out of the case to give it to my daughter, there were no scratches, dings, problems whatsoever. You would have never known how much abuse my phone had gone through. I had recently replaced my iPhone case since after so much abuse it was a bit scratched. She didn't like my new color choice. She wanted another color (kids!!). I also have a Lifeproof case on my iPad, it hasn't been through as much abuse as I watch it more carefully when I'm with clients but I watch Hulu while I soak in the tub with no fear of damaging it due to dropping it in the tub. I cannot say enough good things about these cases. They are not heavy, the touch screen is almost seamless. I use a bluetooth to talk on the phone so don't use the up to the ear type of talking often but didn't have any issues there. Saying all this, I ordered my case directly from Lifeproof this time, my phone arrived almost a week before the case so I will be returning this case since I went to my local Verizon store to buy the identical one on the day my new phone got here. I will not take my electronics out of the box without putting it straight into my Lifeproof case. While there are no guarantees, if you have kids or an intense job, you can't go wrong with Lifeproof!!!

LifeProof and OtterBox, I must say, have the absolute best customer service. Even though it cost me for the shipping back, they definitely took great care of me and helped me with my mistakes and made sure I received the case I needed. The case is exactly what I need, well made and very durable. I am rough on my phone so I am looking forward to putting this case through it's paces!!! The only downside I have found so far is the slick back side finish. I would like to have better grip on the back side or on the bottom edges of the case to increase the grip-ability of the phone and case. the case tends to slide around on my center console of my truck...I do know that there are products available to help reduce that issue. Other than that I have no complaints!!!

Also, it’s gotten splashed and seems like it takes a while before it dries out and people can hear me well. My screen scratched super easy, and might force me to not use it any more.

The screen protector on this FRE scratched badly after only a couple of weeks. Otherwise I’m happy to have waterproof security for my new 8+. It seems to be well designed and built.

I do have one item to mention. The first came with a plastic device to pry the case apart without damage or marring. This one did not have it. I used my original. Photo attached. Would I buy another? I actually had a couple of times I had to replace the case ( the sound got bad which was under warranty. Lifeproof just sent me a new case. No problem. I got the lifeproof fre case for my iPhone 7 Plus and have no worries about it getting broken or wet. My grandsons are pretty rough on things but I don’t worry when it comes to my phone.

A iPhone 6 that required a hassle free warranty replacement and now one for my iPhone 8+. Works well so far no issues with sound or microphone. Siri hears me from across the room and her voice is as clear as it was without the lifeproof case. I’m a very happy customer knowing that my phone is well protected.

I have had my phone out of the case a dozen times changed moved the switch to make it would ring when called, put it the case and it turns the ringer off. The design of that one button is a deal breaker for.

I had a friend who washed and dried his phone in his cargo pants pocke with a lifeproof case on it and there was no damage. Sold me on them especially when I am around horses with it and working in the barn. Won't go without one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Protection, but… I’ve been using the case for a week now and it has been good for protection. The volume buttons are difficult to easily push, but the on/off is much easier to operate. The volume output is muted and distorted. This is the same problem my case for my old iPhone6 had. It’s does seem slightly better than my old case but it’s not great. In fact it’s annoying!!! The hepatic home button works ok, I find that I need to redo my finger print scan frequently to keep it working. Photo quality seems ok. The screen looks ok still not as nice as no screen, but that’s to be expected. The case fits snuggly and looks and feels very tough. I hope it does last longer than my previous one, as that one the Rubber sides and covering overbthe buttons wore off in less than a year, allowing some dust/ dirt to get inside. I need a dirt and waterproof case so this does the job. It’s not bulky or awkward so that’s a plus!! **Bottom Line is I like it and it does a good job protecting my phone**

Thanks to my Fre case I know in 2 or 3 years when I upgrade it will be as good as new. I could afford the X but wasn’t putting out that much money for a Beta phone. The case is slim and does not add much size to the phone and protects the screen well when in my pocket with keys and change. I work in a water rich environment and am confident the extra protection of this case will keep my phone safe. I’ve only changed the phone wirelessly so far and the case does not effect the way it charges

I was most excited about the waterproof feature. The only issue I had was opening the case. The instructions say to use a coin, but a coin is much to thick to fit in the latch. I had to use a knife and ended up prying it the wrong way. The latch did not break but left a little opening in the case for water to seep through. It is very minimal, but a little disappointing. So be careful when you're trying to open this case!!!

I ended up having to get a new case (the seal broke from normal wear and tear) and customer support was wonderful and helpful (the case was under warranty). I had to get a new phone (the Samsung was old and died) and I ended up with an iPhone this time. I got a free case from the store where I bought my phone and it was alright, protected my phone from drops but not water exposure, which I need (we have a very active, outdoor life and a 7 month old baby - the phone gets dropped and wet!). I liked the reviews for this case and since I've had a great experience with LifeProof before, I decided to get this case. I have been using it for a few days and already have dropped my phone (it's fine) and exposed it to water, it was raining and sleeting (it's fine) and I am very happy with it. I have not noticed an issue with sound (I did with my Samsung case, but lived with it) - my phone calls are clear and the person I am speaking with says that I sound just fine. Music I play also sounds fine. I definitely recommend this case, it is worth it!

I’m a bit of a klutz and I figured out how to break the phone in the first five minutes I had it. The case wasn’t really broken, I had just spent the hinge and it popped out of the case. I was able to fix the hinge and get the case To pass the submersion test. The case worked for quite a while and then for some reason the cover for the lightning connection wasn’t liking into place. This happened a couple months before the warranty ran out on the case but since I had broken in the first place, I didn’t think the warranty was any good. However I decided I wanted to get another case for my phone recently so I bought one directly from you. I’m very happy with the case. The new cas passed the submersion test and I hope to get a lot of use out of it.

Haven’t tested the waterproofness yet but the phone is waterproof anyway. I use the case to keep dust, muck, salt water away from the ports on the phone, and to provide drop protection. I live on a farm and go sailing a lot so the case gets a variety of harsh environments. My only criticism is the protective screen lifts away from the phone around the home button, which can hinder the swipe up action. I can only assume they had to do this to get enough area for the speaker membranes.

For as much protection it gives, it’s pretty slim fitting too. Now for the cons... The biggest issue is noise reduction. There’s a huge difference with the case on/off. I was having trouble hearing my girlfriend and thought it was the phone. So I took off the case and noticed the difference. I’m not completely sure why, but sometimes it’s worse than others. Another small note is that the plastic that covers the home button is a little loose. It only worries my that it may tear at some point due the creasing. Both of the cons are disappointing BUT understandable since the case is waterproof, which is understandable. The main reasons I bought the case were durability and it being waterproof.

I was counting down the days till I received the case for fear of damaging my brand new phone without it. I was so relieved when it finally came. My son has dropped his phone several times and his phone has never been damaged so the case works. His case has gotten wore from every day use and since he registered his first purchase it has been replaced under warranty. Nice and strong, makes me have a little peace of mind. One flaw I’ve noticed is annoying but can deal with it. When I pull my phone away from my ear during a call, the screen doesn’t light back up to end the call, it stays black. If Lifeproof has a top or trick around this, then awesome!! If not, then at least my $950 phone is still protected for such a small investment :) Thanks Lifeproof!!

These cases keep my phones immaculate and, when I change, I get great value for my old phone on eBay because I can truthfully advertise them as like new, thanks to LifeProof. Also, LifeProof Customer Service and warranty are the best I have ever encountered. If there is a scratch on the front of the case, LifeProof will replace the case for shipping costs, no questions asked. Whenever I buy a new iPhone, I always wait until the Fré LifeProof case is available for that phone. When I purchased my iPhone 6 plus, I had to content myself with a Nuud for a few months and I had a lot of issues with it. However, I never had issues with the Fré cases.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Case w/ Minor Flaws This is now my 6th Lifeproof FRE case to own. So far, it has not been the best case. I went through 2 Lifeproof FRE cases for my iPhone 4 and 3 cases for my iPhone 6 (All super amazing cases! I really put them through the ringer and pushed the limits of their durability. I was extremely satisfied with my previous cases and would rate them 12/10). As an avid believer/supporter of Lifeproof I had to get a new Lifeproof FRE case for my iPhone 8 Plus when I upgraded my phone 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately, I have not been overly ecstatic about the iPhone 8 Plus Fre case. In the past, I've had nothing but good reviews for the FRE but my iPhone 8 Plus Fre has good/great qualities and a few not so great qualities. First the good: -Going from an iPhone 6 to an iPhone 8 Plus I was a bit worried with the bulkiness of the 8 Plus FRE. Lifeproof did a fantastic job with keeping the bulkiness down. Like any FRE I've owned in the past, this case is incredibly durable and has already saved my phone multiple times from falls and drops on concrete, asphalt, and tile. There are absolutely no problems with the phone's functionality after drops. This is an extremely tough case, the shell and the screen protector both. -The Touch ID function works very well on this case and reads my fingerprint 8-9/10 times. Not so great: -The first issue I have with the case are the buttons. Locking the phone as well as toggling the volume buttons can be challenging as the buttons are incredibly difficult to depress. Strong fingers recommended. I've come across the issue of trying to lock the phone while boarding and wearing gloves. Since gloves reduce contact surface, i did not create a significant amount of pressure to depress the button. -The second problem I have with my case could just be an abnormal/uncommon occurrence, but I figured I would share because of the potential/possibility of it happening to other people. As I was unboxing the case and took it apart, I immediately noticed a slight bow in the case in both parts. The back piece had a more significant bow/bend where the rubber seal was forced out of the "seal-canal". The top piece of the case's bow is just enough to be noticeable when the case is put together with the phone inside, as the screen protector is not 100% flush on the screen causing a bubbling prism effect on the screen. This is hardly noticeable, but just enough to slightly bother you if you like the sleek look of an invisible screen protector. Other than these few problems I have, this case is still a great all-around case, especially for the extremely active and adventurous people. I highly recommend the Lifeproof FRE if you need an ultimate, durable case because you like taking your phone on various adventurers such as mountain biking, rock climbing, or even snorkeling in the ocean. This really is the most durable/functional phone case on the market. However, if all you are worried about is a few phone drops here and there, I would suggest a different case. Perhaps one where the buttons are easier to press and the built in screen protector does not get in your way.

The case does not seal completely and as such, the entire system is compromised. Further, the Phone shifts back and forth inside of the case, ever so slightly, as a result of the poor seal. This affects the keyboard use, the home button, etc.

I bought an otter box for that reason but it didn’t work sand got inside and in between. So I bought a lifeproof case and it’s the best investment I ever made. It doesn’t let sand inside or in between. Thank You LifeProof

My iPhone 8+ is superbly protected now (even waterproof! and it’s a very low profile case. Speaker sound is still good and the screen is just as responsive as if there was no case. Excellent case! On the downside, it took 3+ weeks to get as well as two e-mails after seeing that the order hadn’t been processed. Clearly though, I felt it was worth the effort and poor order fulfillment. I bought via Instagram, maybe other avenues of purchase would be better.

My old phone was protected so well it looked brand new. Not a scratch or dent. Th only problem I have now is that it is very hard to press the buttons.

I'm super clumsy and tend to do all sorts of ridiculous things with my phone. Example literally picked up my phone whilst doing the dishes and decided to give it a wash , luckily this baby is waterproof or i would have had to get another phone. Never the less you'd be stupid not to buy one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks great and functions well The Lifeproof case screen protector is flush with my phone screen despite still having the glass screen protector on and it looks a lot cooler than the Otterbox case. This case is fairly waterproof and the sound quality of the speakers is still decent with the case on, unlike the Pelican waterproof case which was also sound proof unfortunately! I also tried the Otterbox case and had to return it because the screen cover was not flush with my iPhone 8+ screen and had an annoying bubble, probably because I have a glass protector on it.

Handled the thing like a baby because i was scared i was going to drop it. Luckily the case arrived and i placed on my phone. Within a couple days, my 7 year old dropped my phone on our tile kitchen floor. Our jaws dropped, he apologized. I picked up the phone and told him not to worry.....the case protected the phone. This is a must have.

I also did a water test and the water had leaked through the case after I submerged it for 30 minutes, and completely dried it. I wasn’t sure if I could get a new one since it leaked, and I plan on using my phone snowboarding.

I had owned one previously for my iPhone 6 and was very satisfied with the protection it gave my phone. I’d dropped it many times on both hard and sofft surfaces along with using it in a pouring rain storm and during a snow storm. I work outside Forca landscape company and am exposed to every type of weather condition along with high heat and very dusty conditions. I’ve found this case to be as good if not better than the previous iPhone 6 FRE case I had. I also want to say I had the life proof case with the battery for my iPhone 6 that was tough as nails. I’d had the misfortune of dropping it from a 2nd floor balcony to the asphlt parking lot below with a slight chip to the case edge, but no damage to my phone!!! Bottom line lifeproof cases have worked for me over the years and this one so far has been terrific. It also fits snugly around the phone and is a perfect size to keep in a pocket and to hold in your hand. Not bulky at all.

I’ve never been disappointed with my purchase until this time...simply put, the case is too large for the iPhone8 plus. I can hear the sound of the clear plastic going up and down under my fingers as I text or type this review. But the MOST annoying part about the case is that it takes at least 12 tries of swiping up from the bottom of my locked screen before the correct menu comes up....for example, if you want to turn on the flashlight on your iPhone. The other issue is that I wanted to use my thumb to unlock my phone instead of typing in my password everytime. But that also doesn’t work because of it being to large ...it doesn’t read my thumb print correctly . Again, I always always always have been a huge fan and have always recommended lifeproof, but not after this iPhone8plus case :-((((

Another is that you HAVE to you the apple chargers because of the diameter of the charging port. Lastly the cameras tend to collect dust making pictures ugly and difficult to clean. But as in protecting your phone it’s yhe best.

Where it opens for the charge port seems like it will let water in. i haven't tested that since i put the phone in the case and do not want to damage the phone but it seems that the charger port area will let water come in. other than that this is a great case, very light.

I was hesitant at first because usually some reviews can get me not to go through with it. I got the Fre case for my iPhone 8 Plus. I have two kids and one of them is a toddler. He is destructive and it was so important that I needed to protect my phone for those "just in case" moments. I have been super happy with the outcome. I have dropped my phone once and the case protects it. I love that it also protects from the dust which is a must because my phone goes into my purse. No complaints. Just happy with it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hard to beat I previously owned a lifeproof Fre for my iPhone 6. I used to work as a welder in a heavy industry environment and wanted something that could handle dust and dirt and also cope with getting very wet. For the two years it was subjected to that the case never let me down and survived multiple drops and harsh situations. The last year it was with me through an almost similar environment while I renovated our house full time and also many hours outside in the garden. I have to add here that two and a half years in the membrane over the iphones home button became loose and I removed it so it effectively was no longer completely sealed and typically I managed to drop it in a full bath of water. It hit the bottom and then I fished it out . No damage whatsoever even though it no longer had the membrane in place and to be fair the whole case was pretty battered now so I was very impressed. Now I have the 8+ and immediately bought the Fre case and have no reason to not expect it to be just as good if not better as its in a gentler environment now over the next three years. No problem with people hearing me or vice versa. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 10/10

The only bad thing is that exposed rubber parts (side of the case will tend to dry and wear down after 2 years (that's why I had purchased a new one)

Takes a bit of getting use to at first. Got frustrated but you need to remember that the buttons do not work close to the edge of the screen so put your finger at the top of the space bar not at the bottom where you would normally and directly on the letter instead of the edge. I can put it in my handbag and not worry about the screen or phone getting damaged. Probably not suitable for someone with arthritis or problems with hands as difficult to turn off sometimes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I’ll use a LifeProof Fre and only a LifeProof Fre! I recently upgraded my iPhone 7 to an iPhone 8 Plus, and absolutely love my new iPhone! So of course, the same day I got the new phone, I went online and bought a LifeProof Fre in “Drop In” to match the silver color of my iPhone 8 Plus. It took a little over a week to get to me, but I was so happy to finally get it. To my amazing disappointment, the case does not seem to fit properly. The iPhone 8 Plus is slightly thicker and taller than the iPhone 7 Plus, and I am not sure if LifeProof is aware of this, so they are all saying that iPhone 7 Plus LifeProof Fre cases will fit an iPhone 8 Plus, but that is simply not so. My beautiful iPhone 8 Plus is crammed into this case, and it is obvious this case is too small for my iPhone. I really hope LifeProof reads this, and fixes this issue. I paid a whopping $96 for this case, and cannot use it. LifeProof please: look at the specs sheet on Apple’s webpage regarding the iPhone 8 Plus versus the iPhone 7 Plus and you all will see. Yes, I know — those are minute size differences, but those minute differences make a huge difference with cases like this Fre Series cases because due to the iPhone 8 Plus being slightly thicker and taller, the cases you all are advertising for “iPhone 8+/7+” are not at all accurate. The iPhone 8 Plus needs a whole new Fre Series designed just for it with its demensions in mind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Protect the unprotected I ordered the case online and it was delivered on time. To my excitement, I immediately opened the box. I read few instructions as to how to put the phone in but it would be better if there will be illustrations on the proper way of doing it. I used a coin at the bottom right corner to remove the case and noticed that the back case is a little soft that a part of it was scratched by the coin. The cover for the charger port is not that tight anymore as I open and close it most of the time for charging and for headset plug in. The rubber type material of the sides accumulates dirt easily and needs to be cleaned as frequent as possible as it changes the color if not taking cared of. I haven’t tried if it’s really shock proof and water proof but I believe it is dust proof as long as it will be kept tightly closed.

I bought the IPHONE 8 plus Cover about a Month ago and since the day that it arrived i noticed that the bottom of the cover wasn't closing tight. Also the clear soft plastic on the flash are tore apart my cover isn't a lifeproof anymore. I'm so dissapointed with this product 90 dollares gone to the trash.

I bought a temper glass to put on my phone just in case but I love this LifeProof case so far. The only problem I have is the color fades fast and when you pull it in and out of your pocket you start to get a brown dirt ring around the case by over than that I am in love with the case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than otter box Bought this after having dust always getting inside my otter box case. The life proof case does the just and doesn’t make the phone seem like a brick. Never liked my previous case but loved this case from the moment I put it on. Only bad thing is that I guess life proof took out the install tool, so you have to use a coin. Maybe to save money?

I’ve already dropped it once; of course, no harm. When I got this phone, the case one my prior phone allowed me to get my $200 return money. My phone was in perfect condition. I won’t have a phone without the life proof case!!

However, the ergonomics of holding the box once installed make using the phone with a single hand far trickier than with a good non-box. LP really needs to add some tacky/textured rubber to the back and improve the edges.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4 stars I bought this about 2 weeks ago, I give it 4 stars only because since I Put the case on it is hard for people to hear me while I am on the phone with them. Once I take the case of they could hear me so I know it is the case. Other than that I like how it is really reliable, I have had 4 iPhones and have boughten one for each and they all did not break when they fall as I am clumsy and drop them constantly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I bought this because of the colors, it's very pretty. I just recently updated to a 7 plus from a 6. I had a lifeproof on my 6 for over 2 years and never had a problem with it. This case is more sleek than my case for the 6. So far, I love it!

A+ for phone safety! Only thing I could have wished for is a variety of colors, because I was really hoping for a splash of orange. All is great though :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Protective case but... I loved the case when I received it but it has been maybe 2 weeks and the rubber around the case gets so dirty. I bought the light blue one. And when I clean it-it just gets dirty right away. I do feel that the case is protecting my phone, but it just bothers me seeing how dirty the front outside gets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My IPhone 8+ is Happy now. After 3 months of cracked and chipped screen protectors and banged up dented cases, I switched to Lifeproof. After putting the phone in my Lifeproof case (easy, I haven't had any cracks or scratches even after several drops at the golf course (including phone falling out of the golf cart at high speed) or when the phone is in my pocket with a bunch of keys and golf tees.

First day we got caught in a storm on the lake... in our kayaks... and later when we dried and got in the truck, not a drip or drop of fog, condensation, or any speck of water! Don’t like that the screen rainbows and looks wet underneath after heat and prolonged use but, still stays dry!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For someone who is hard on their phone I hike, backpack, hike, etc. a lot all year for work and fun so I wanted a case that could handle that but wasnt as heavy and bulky as the Otter Boxes that I had on my last two phones. I’ve already put it through a lot skiing and walking around and it’s held up really well. I really like how easy the charging port is to open. The sleekness is also a plus. The only downsides are that the volume buttons are REALLY hard to press, the other ones are fine. Otherwise, I wish there were some more colors added but that’s not a big deal. For reference, I use this case for my iPhone 8+. Thanks Lifeproof!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beach Life Bought this about a month ago and love it! I’ve got an iPhone 8 Plus and it fits the phone like a glove. No change to touch sensitivity or fingerprint recognition (I set this up before putting the case on); I’ve had no complaints about sound quality and find the sound clear myself; photos all still come out clear too. It’s a solid case that gives great bounce protection and the comfort of knowing it’s waterproof (tried and tested!) so keeps salt and chlorine off my phone. The case itself isn’t bulky and I love the colour :) the rubber grip on the front stops the phone slipping in hand but tends to pick up dirt easily (I’ve got the aqua coloured one) so I have to keep cleaning it or it looks grubby. All in all a great case, so good that I’ve bought another for my mum!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice case with only minor flaws I've had the case for a couple weeks now. It has held up very well. Positives: - Very slim profile for the level of protection. It can clearly take a hit but is not a brick in my pocket. - Sleek design looks good and not flashy - All buttons and ports made available and easy to access - Phone lays flat with camera down; other cases tilt due to camera sticking out - Allows wireless charging through the case Negatives: - The screen cover makes it tough sometimes to touch corners on the screen. I would prefer to give up the waterproof feature to not have a screen cover at all. Especially since the phone is already water resistant. - Also on the screen cover, it is very difficult to keep dust particles out from between the cover and screen. With dedicated covers it is easier to make a clean environment one time and apply it. With this, even after application dust will find its way in there. Overall it is a great case and I plan to buy again next time I need one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good I bought my case a month ago and found it had some damage. I called customer service and they had a replacement sent quickly. So far I love the Fre case and have had no issues with the replacement case. It keeps my iPhone clean and safe from the elements. I hike,bike, kayak and other awesome activities. The customer service is extremely helpful, friendly and will do there best to right the situation.
