The IBM TS2270 Tape Drive is an external, stand-alone or rack shelf mountable half-high LTO tape unit designed to offer high capacity and performance for IBM Power Systems, Lenovo and other OEM system environments. It incorporates IBM LTO Generation 7 half-high tape drives that provides maximum tape drive throughput native data rate performance of up to 300 Mb/s and a storage capacity of up to 6 TB with the introduction of the IBM LTO Ultrium 7 6 TB data cartridge.
