Reduces a lot of cost.
Rather than purchase new power supplies we are able to utilize older models that would be obsolete otherwise. Simply convert your old power supply with the 7.4mm jack to a 4.5mm. We have converted hundreds of power supplies saving us Thousands of dollars.

Perfect solution!
We have purchased at least a couple dozen of these adapters and will likely purchase more. They are great, and the perfect cost-saving solution to increasing our supply of spare power cords for laptops that require the smaller barrel plug. We had drawers filled with the previous large barrel power adapters, and now by using these adapters, we have plenty of extra smaller barrel power cords.

Exactly what we needed!
We had excess power supplies for our HP Probook 640 G1 laptops. Using this adapter we can connect our G1 Power supplies to our G2 and G3 model laptops.
