In evaluating this Service please review the SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT (“SOE”) detailed here in the “Product Overview” section. Your order of this Service indicates your acceptance of all terms and conditions specified in the SOE set forth in Product Overview section.
SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT
This SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT (“SOE”), together with the Agreement between the CDW entity selling the Services described herein (“Seller”) and the customer ordering such Services (“Customer”) shall be deemed to be a contract upon Seller’s acceptance of Customer’s order.
SELLER RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following tasks:
• Gather configuration information from the customer.
• Inspect equipment for any damage or faults and resolve accordingly.
• The customer specified settings will used to perform the initial imaging of nodes and optionally initialize a Nutanix cluster (requires three or more nodes present at the same time).
• Any approved post-imaging configuration requests will be performed.
• All imaged nodes and configured clusters undergo a series of quality control steps to verify they are configured to the customer’s exact specifications.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following tasks:
• Customer will provide any configuration information required to complete the node imaging and cluster configuration tasks.
ASSUMPTIONS
• Seller’s Account Manager will create an install configuration and include service EDC(s).
• Seller’s Account Manager will enter any additional instructions in to the installation notes on the order.
OUT OF SCOPE
• Any design and review consulting.
• Any performance tuning, system optimization or similar activities.
• Virtual Machine (VM) provisioning and management.
• Integration into an existing Nutanix cluster and/or existing VMware vSphere or Hyper-V environment.
• Configuring Cisco fabric interconnections and Cisco UCS domains.
• Performing any Services not specified herein.
SERVICES FEES
The fees due under this SOE include fees for Services and related expenses, as specified in the applicable order
PROJECT-SPECIFIC TERMS
• Any single Nutanix compatible server node and its supported hardware options.
• Any changes to this SOE shall require a Change Order executed by both parties.
CONTACT PERSON
Each party will appoint a person to provide approvals/decisions (“Contact Person”)
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This SOE shall be governed by Seller’s “Terms and Conditions of Product Sales and Service Projects,” which are accessed via the Terms and Conditions link on Seller's website (the “Agreement”) and are incorporated herein
