Worst Video Camera Ever
This camera is terrible with outdated features and capabilities. The camera is not supported by Canon software. The wifi does not connect to any device (Android, Iphone, Ipad etc I have tried multiple devices of varying age and the camera will connect with none of them. There is also no remote control capability. Canon does not even make their own wifi remote control app. It is made by a third party vendor, which Canon does not tell you. This camera is just a big paperweight IMO. Save your money and buy a Sony.

Beyond expectations.
Great photos and videos. Many nice additional features.Zoom in, zoom out, slow motion makes this cam very versatile.

Canon VIXIA HF R80 is reliable, and easy to use, I recommend this product!
I love my new Canon camcorder. I actually used it to make a video yesterday and uploaded it to my You tube channel. Everyone who has seen the video loves the new look. Thank you so much.

second Vixia Camera
My previous Vixia stopped working after 5 or 6 years. The quality was so good that I purchased the Vixia 80 in July. The videos shot at an out door picnic were fantastic, even better than the other camera. True, vivid color and excellent zoomed scenes. Would highly recommend this camera

great features
Has many features and easy to use. I had an older more epensive Canon video camera, that I had to replace. This camera almost all the features of the older camera, at a much lower price. The only feature not included was a flash. However this camera can take most pictures if there is some light. For my use, this camera is a very good value, and I would recommend it.

I bought this a while ago and do YouTube videos and vlogs and for some reason I like shooting with a camcorder better than a camera for my videos for my YouTube channel and this camcorder is amazing for all my videos!

Not for the outdoors
I bought this video camera based on the reviews, however, this is not the camcorder I expected.
I needed a lightweight camcorder to take video of nature, especially in the sun but this is not it. You couldn't see what you were recording at all and there is not an option to add a video sun screen.
The stabilization is great, really lightweight, quality is alright, great features for beginners. I can see that this camcorder would be great for bloggers, indoor use with controlled lighting.
