Rated 5 out of 5 byLazlo from No driver for Mac OS Mojave yet?Bought this printer as replacement for my old Canon MG 8220 printer until I can figure out how to clear the "ink absorber full" error code on the old unit (Went to Best Buy, the authorized local service facility, but they said "we don't have the tools".The TS 8220 construction looks flimsy in comparison but it does a beautiful job and costs less than the ink. The standard ink tanks are only filled to 5.5 ml but are available at greater fill levels for a price.The supplied CD was handy for making a wireless connection between the new printer and my router and Windows 7 desktop computer. Will need to download drivers from the internet for my Mac OS Mojave laptop but couldn't find any yet.

First, it turns off when not in use, so even though it is wireless, it does not sleep, it turns between usage. thus, you need to get up and go to the wireless location of the printer. It uses the small ink reserves at a very fast pace. I currently have an HP 8600 multi use printer that is far superior to the Cannon and priced the same. The Canon printer is a nice size but flimsy and does not provide the confidence that it is durable. It does print nice quality.

There was a little confusion on how the front tray clicks into the front of the printer, and after initially trying to snap it back into the position it was in prior to pulling it from the printer, I decided that it must be how it was assembled. Other than that, I had little to no difficulty setting up this wonderful multi-function printer. However, I admit that being a computer technician makes the process quite easy for myself. The average end user might have some initial difficulties if instructions are not followed properly. So far, though, the printer does what a printer is supposed to do, print pages very well, and prints beautiful pictures on any glossy photo paper. There are just too many features to discuss in this short review, but mainly my favorite feature is how I can have it connect to my android smartphone through an app, and it will print ANY of my images that I have saved on the phone itself. Honestly, I’ve been using many different printers since I first began using computer systems, and I’ve seen what my friends use as well. If I had to recommend a quality printer, I would recommend this printer for the money paid. It sets up nicely next to my laptop in my living room where I do most of my work including school work. When I need to print up an assignment, I know I can count on this printer to deliver well done printed pages that will give my instructors pause. Because of the initial confusing nature of the front paper tray, I had to take off one star off the rating, but otherwise, it's a reasonable product at a competitive price.

Rated 5 out of 5 byFuz from Great printer, tough setupI received a free printer in exchange for my honest review. In evaluating this printer I found that it was packaged very well and intelligently. Unpacking the printer exposed a lot of the functionality and points of interest on the printer. The initial setup was surprising difficult. The instructions were unclear/ insufficient to complete the setup. I am an engineer and consider myself extremely tech savvy and I struggled with this bit. The app continuously timed out during searching and I had to eventually close the instructions and figure it out on my own. This took ~20 minutes. Once configured, however, the printer was excellent! I immediately opened a pdf on my phone and selected to open it with the app and was able to print it within 10 seconds. Photo printing couldn't be easier either, Simply load the photo paper and open with the app. Overall, I am very pleased with the printer performance and ink capacity/variability. The only complaint is the initial setup and instructions.

Rated 5 out of 5 byJravj from Overall a good printer!I like the printer that I received as a free sample. It was easy to unpack and add to my network at home. The URL to install the printer makes it easy. The only thing that I did not enjoy is how long it took to install on teo laptops. Pronts great and it makes scanning really easy. I would like to see an improvement in the power down though, it also takes a long time to shut down.

Rated 5 out of 5 bybllg01 from Nice PrinterI bought this printer a month ago. So far, I am very satisfied with the printer. It is easy to operate and does not take much space. I do not like that when turn off the printer, its front cover does not fold back in its initial position. It has to be push back manually.
