You can print on the sheet however you wish, and cut it to fit the shape or size you need. We have used these to label our storage room.

Last year, one of my colleagues used a Sesame Street graphic, enlarged it onto the template and printed her boys' and girls' names with their class information. She used these as her take home folder. They really stayed on and brightened up the folders! I will admit that by the end of the year the white portion of the labels looked a little dirty but I hey they ARE little kids!

I used them at our county fair to easily, from a distance, identify whose quilt fair goers were looking at. I printed out a list of names on the label and then cut them apart. They were then easy to stick on to the quilts and remove easily from the material without leaving any residue.

The 8.5" X 11" size allows you to create many different sizes and shapes to suit your needs, cut them out and apply. With a bit of planning, very little waste results, and for very small print runs, these are perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these! I use these all the time for a variety of purposes. One key use is for shipping packages. I can print two long narrow shipping labels off of my endicia postage program on one sheet. I label everything in the house with these sheets as I can print any size label I want. I can print a couple of extra large labels for a box that is going in out of the way storage and you need to be able to read the label from a distance. I print up a sheet of multiple copies of the same item or I print many different labels. The uses are endless. I have a paper cutter in my office and can quickly zip off any size label in a flash. My son prints tiny uniforms for legos on these sheets and cuts them out.

The quality is excellant and they never come off. I even use the scrap pieces for craft projects! Avery is the only labels of any kind I have used for years!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of uses To be honest, I rarely use these as actual shipping labels. They are great for printing any number of sticker projects. TrueBlock technology is a fantastic improvement over other products since I often need to cover an existing design. The only slight downside I've experienced is that there is often a faint impression of the diagonal line where the backing peels off.

Customer doubled the order, was able to recreate my color label for promo and continue to produce and ship within customer required time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you have a boss that ... If you have a boss that want you to put everything on a delivery label, this is the product for you! These labels have lots of spaces for you to play-around and they can fit all of the followings in one label: the delivery address, the ATTN, your company's logo, company address, a "my-boss-think-it-isn't-too-long" promotional quote, and some decoration frame and images that make the delivery stand out from the crowd. Having a boss that is....aggressive....enough, you will need a label that is big enough!

We have used it to print out things that need to be put on displays for school projects and reports. It gives a much better finish than glue or tape. they stick great and the print quality is nice too. they are good to use for odd shaped stickers too.

We get items in need of repair & once the item is repaired I can make a label with these sheets and cover up the existing labes & re-use the box it came in. It saves me so much time trying to peel off the old labels.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Food Storage Made Easy I use Avery labels for almost everything! These bigger labels, however, are just PERFECT for placement on my food grade buckets. Since my family uses these containers for things like flour, sugar, pasta, rice, etc. - these big labels make it SO easy to find just what I'm looking for. Whenever I need to refill my canisters in the kitchen, I go to the right container every time. We've added little pictures and graphics to go along with the name of the item - it makes it FUN!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flexible Label Size, Durable, Reliable Avery offers labels in a staggering variety of sizes but sometimes as a graphic designer I need to move beyond the more popular dimensions of pre-cut labels and produce a label that's truly unique either in size, shape or both. And that's why I use 5165. With a metal straight edge and a craft knife (or free-hand with scissors if you're more adventurous) you can create one-of-a-kind labels with 5165 that will stand the test of time. I say that because some of the labels I've created with it date back to before my son was 10 years old... he's 28 as I write this review and those labels are still 'on the job' if you get my drift. I could go on about this particular Avery product but instead recommend that you consider it the next time you want to label 'out side the box' as it is defined by the cut edge of popular or standard label sizes. The finish of 5165 is always consistent and not once has a label I've created with it ever failed to perform as expected.

When I do I love to have these full sheet labels and am able to customize my own length and width and maximize the usage of the entire sheet with my programs. I have found few that have these for laser printers that are as good of quality

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great improvement These new full sheet labels are such an improvement over the old ones. I print our large mailing labels 6-up, then cut them to size. The backing is so much easier to remove now that it extends over the edges and has diagonal cuts through it. Thank you for making life a little bit easier!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better buy than the Inkjets If you are using the full-sheet labels to make an impresions, go for these over the inkjet variety. Especially when using them for custom wine or water bottle labels, they are much more water resistant for much longer than the inkjet labels.

The finish is perfect...the peel off back makes it very easy for volunteers to use. Printer feeding was perfect. Affordability was key for my project.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FULL SHEET LABELS I love to use these for projects that i need a bunch of stickers to use for my scrapbooking pages. i just paste a bunch of different or the same sticker graphic and then use cutters to cut them out and use them accordingly on the pages, or on homemade cards. I also use them for shipping labels to cover over thelabels on envelopes and boxes that i need to ship out items to people it helps recycle the usable boxes or envelopes i have on hand instead of throwing hem out.

Avery has every possible label scenario covered, and has always worked well in all the printers I've had over the years. Add in all of the support software that they offer for free and it's a hands down winner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Print blotches and will not print clearly When printed using a HP M277dw color laser the colors are smeared down the entire RH side of the page as if something dragged and smeared the inks before they could dry (except that it is a laser printer). Fearing inks were left in the printer I loaded a plain sheet and printed- it printed fine. I also agree with other comments regarding ink transfer once printed- the inks aren't setting properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Quality Labels I have ALWAYS preferred AVERY labels of EVERY kind, but the full-page labels take the CAKE! I have cut them in half and used them to mail ebay packages without having to reinforce the edges--they cover up unwanted markings on the boxes, and the edges stay STUCK, so this year when my kids' cd "SUGARBABY" won a prestigious award, I chose to download the AWARD sticker IMAGE, print them on my AVERY full-page labels, and die-cut them to stick onto the CDs! I saved a TON of money printing them myself, and I can trust that the stickers will stay put! They are even easier to peel off the backing than other labels. AVERY is just the BEST!

I simply type the comments in Word, print them out, cut them to size and fasten them to the report card. I discovered this while I was recovering from hand and wrist surgery and could not hand write the comments. A great product!

These mock-ups always look first class, because I use Avery's 8 1/2 x 11 shipping labels. Since the entire sheet has an adhesive backing, I can customize the size of all my sample labels and packaging. If I need a large package design or hundreds of small labels, it can be created using Avery shipping labels. With this versatile full sheet label, I am always ready. An e-xacto blade and my imagination is all I need to create endless packaging solutions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Mailing Labels I love Avery labels, I have them for folders and books and mailings but my most favorite is the Mailing lables that allow me to re-use boxes and padded envelopes that end up in our trash bin. We try to recycle whenever possible, but when sending correspondance materials to clients, it does not make a good impression to send a used envelope or box. With Avery mailing labels, the coverage of the old label is complete and there is no show through. They look great. I also use them to customize folders for presentations, with my color printer I can personalize the labels for each phase of the project.

We use them at work for shipping loads to various jobs in the field or shipping parts/pieces in boxes to clients. I use them at home for labeling things for the kids/grandkids. They can be cut into fun shapes, just trace an outline, print out and cut the shape out. Can't tell you how many times we have used them for birthdays, Valentines Day, Easter, Christmas decorations, etc. Give it a try and use your imagination.

These are very good labels. I use these labels to print two shipping labels with mailing software and cut them in half.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do you ship online? If you prepare parcels for shipping online, through your postal service or a courier, you have to print labels to be attached to the parcel. These often include a printed bar code that cannot be covered by packing tape. Using Avery full-sheet labels saves the hassle of cutting and taping shipping labels to your parcel, and looks clean and professional. I highly recommend them!!!

THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A PROBLEM WITH LABELS STICKING IN MY LASER PRINTER. ONE TIME I TRIED A GENERIC BRAND, BUT WILL NEVER, EVER USE IT AGAIN. I AM A TRIED AND TRUE FAN OF AVERY PRODUCTS!!

I use this and many other Avery products and can say the same thing, let them be the business Cards I make, or the labels I print, or the greeting cards I make etc. Avery provides a high quality product that is easy to use and manipulate. I never have to worry about ink running after printing, nor it not looking very professional. I have only positive to say for Avery. I just wish I can show you my work, but I don't know how to download using anything other than Word or PDF.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So. Much. Waste. I bought these labels (box of 100) because I ship a lot to friends and family. I use the USPS click and ship, one of these days I'll break down and invest in their label system. But for now, I thought these would be great. NO! The ones previous were awesome, but Avery changed them. Now they get caught in the printer's feeder and only print half the label – repeatedly. I know "The definition of insanity is repeating the same mistakes over and over again and expecting different results," but hey, I'm nothing if not consistent. I have wasted more ink, more labels, and gotten more frustrated than I can even say. I finally had to sit down and write this review after trying to print an express mail label seven times before I finally printed it on plain paper and taped it down with shipping tape. Ugh! Unless you're going to use these for hand printing some other project – run, don't walk, away from these labels. And just a note, I have a relatively new HP photo printer; it's not the printer.
