They solve not having many outlets by your nightstand - In this age of technology, I am able to plug in my iphone, iwatch, kindle, and bedside light, laptop plus whatever else I want! This works as it should! The swivel cord feature works great - no more fighting with the cord! Loved all the outlet features- able to plug in most products!

A lightning strike near our house blew out the surge protector our TV was attached to and fried the HDMI mother board, PS3, and Roku attached to it. The APC SurgeArrest held strong, which is fortunate since the computer and monitors were plugged into it! Considering ordering another for other home electronic devices!

I love the usb ports and the outlets are spaced far apart from one another that I'm actually able to use them all unlike on many power blocks. Each outlet also has a shield you can slide over it when not in use to protect against dust. Big fan!
